Bought for a standard 22mm microphone locking mount. No such adapter. Build quality seems good, but did not fit my use case so it was returned. There are better choices for the same cost.

The microphone shock mount is super sturdy for the price, I quite frankly didn't expect this quality.Unfortunately I had to return the item as it didn't really fit my microphone, the adapter was too wide.I wish I could just buy a new adapter but I can't seem to find one, that's a shame cause I really really like the shock mount.

I didn't want to spend over $400 on the Neumann mount, my bank account is already a lot lighter thanks to the mic itself, so I needed to save some dollars somehow. No regrets at all! This mount is just as good as the original. I have the U87 mounted and pointed down, and the adapter fits perfectly, keeping it tightly secured. I read another comment about it 'rattling about', but I don't have this problem, it's a perfect fit. It comes with an extra band for spare, and the only difference I can tell from the original is the thumbscrew is silver, not black. It has a nice felt ring that is a nice touch, and will probably help with any vibration and and stops metal against metal. It's easy enough to remove the mic for storage... and if you have a Neumann U87 don't just leave it gathering dust on the mount, it'll damage it long-term.

I've ordered a couple of inexpensive shock mounts for my '72 Neumann U87 and this is the one that actually fit. Good build quality and looks good too! Why buy one from Neumann for $300? This works great!

I was totally impressed with the quality of the Boseen spider mounts after I got the first for my Neumann TLM 103, that I ordered a second for my U87. The Neumann mounts have a thin elastic band that stretches easily. When I got these in, I was blown away by the quality, especially for under $30 vs $300 + on my the Neumann. One of the best (and cheapest) buys I have made in a while! (See my picture with the Neumann mounted in the Boseen mount and the Neumann that I am holding)

Well built and sturdy, my mic has been sitting in the mount for over a week, no issues. Great savings over the Neumann version.

It's way stronger than the original mount with TLM 103. I like it!

I don’t mind paying reasonably higher prices for high quality equipment but I simply thought Neumann was far out of reason to charge $375 for a shock mount for their U87 ai microphone. I began searching for a more reasonably priced shock mount. I first ordered one for $55 from a well known auction site. When it arrived I was disappointed to find it wouldn’t work on my U87 and the quality wasn’t great. Then I saw this Boseen shock mount on Amazon. I was very skeptical about the quality with price being $28. It arrived today and I was amazed. It is made of quality materials and came with a pair of extra bands. It works excellent with my U87. I am very pleased and highly recommend this shock mount.

Good value for its price. The hinge could have been tighter, as I’ve turned the screw knob as far as I can, and the mount still has a bit of unwanted play from the weight of my Sennheiser MK4. I’m worried I’ll break the screw if I try to tighten it further. But, overall, it’s a good less-expensive alternative to the Sennheiser mount specifically for my mic.

Came with 2 large adapters and not the small one in the picture for my tlm 103. So lost a star for that. But luckily I have a 3d printer so I made a spacer. Product is sturdy enough to hold the small mics but the knob to tighten is plastic so if you use a larger mic, hopefully it isn't much heavier than the 103 to where you have to crank that knob. Doesn't scream high quality like the metal frame does but, it didn't feel weak when I tightened it for the strength needed to keep the mic in the position I set. Just a heads up that hey, it's plastic, under pressure and force...... Yeah. It's what 30 bucks. Beats spending 150 - 200 for the official one or else you wouldn't have checked this item out. So a screw and a wing nut later and this thing is solid. It's a good product. I recommend it. And if you fall into my situation with the adapters, best to find a 3d printer or some large washers to fix that problem..... unless you get 2 small ones and you have the large mic, then I guess you have to return your unit, or find me so we can trade big for small adapters hahahaha.
