Failed within 1 week. The sealing compound is self-destructive during installation. Looks like cured silicon ring around the sealing surface. Was easily removed by prying with a very fine screwdriver with very little effort. Replaced with a Timken seal.

At last! The correct one for my ‘95 Jeep Cherokee. Fits the rear diff. Went through a few others that were suppose to be the correct one. I should have cleaned up the old one sooner. I would have seen it was made by National and the part number was 43085. I feel silly not catching that detail until trying the one I ordered from Rock Auto, which was incorrect.

Used this in a jeep TJ transfer with SYE fit great, I was having issues with the seal leaking before this one I bet I put 4 of the "correct" seals in before saying screw it and getting this spicer lipped seal.
