Really pretty and nice materials. I tried to grind some grinder pink salt in this pretty glass and metal grinder. The grinder is awkward. I poured the salt crystals in. And the pieces struggled to nestle between the little metal spikes. (No directions included). I attempted to put the metal lid on and it would not go on because apparently it needs to nestle in the gaps that the salt is in. So I am unsure how usable this is. I tried hard to muscle it on but couldn’t. And when I made a bit of headway getting it down a bit it would not move around to grind the salt. Now for soft herbs this grinder is good. As others said it doesn’t have a pollen screen. It can still be a bit awkward to line up when trying to put the top on before grinding.Very solid glass base and I like the gold. The size fits nicely in your hand.

I got this herb grinder because I needed a grinder that could handle a relatively large amount of herbs at once. This grinder does not disappoint. I haven’t needed to fill it up yet but I can easily fit multiple grams of ground herbs in the bottom part. It does not come with a screen at the bottom to catch any small pieces, so they will remain with the rest of the ground herb material. It’s a pretty stylish grinder with a nice golden color, not very luminous but it looks quite nice on the shelf I think. It should be fairly sturdy, the grinding mechanism is aluminum on aluminum so it should not break off even if torqued a lot. You can get a good grip on it easily because of the knurled grips on the top which is a cool feature that I don’t often see on herb grinders available near me. The magnets are not weak and not that strong, I would call them average. The grind itself is fairly pedestrian. If you need something that produces an extra fine fluffy grind for a specialized use then you may need to look elsewhere. If you are looking for basic functionality and good value, plus an ergonomic grip which makes it easy to use, I think this herb grinder does the job.Cheers and happy grinding!

I’m very happy that I got this herb grinder. Though it’s a bit more expensive than the other herb grinders in my collection, it’s quite a bit higher in quality than any of the others I own and is very well made. This herb grinder is completely machined from aluminum, not just cast in a mold like all my others. The teeth, top and bottom, are carved by machine out of the stock and they are very sharp. Every surface of the metal parts has been machined and polished to a nice luster. You can see the machining marks inside the lid in the photos. Those sharp teeth slice through dense buds very quickly. The lid has finger grooves machined all around that provide an excellent grip when cutting up a lot of buds. I get a much better grip on this grinder than any of my others. The magnets that are inset into the base and lid securely hold the two together but allow the parts to spin effortlessly. They hold so well that you can hold the grinder upside down and shake it a bit and it won’t fall off.The glass bottom had its rim ground down to attach the machined aluminum collar and the fit is very well done. The bottom of the glass receptacle is thick and flat. I was worried that the glass jar bit might have a collar inside that would get in the way when you’re trying to pour the ground herb out but the sides and bottom of the glass are straight and the joint between glass and threaded aluminum collar is quite smooth so it won’t trap anything but the finest particles, and even they are easily brushed out to clean the device.I hadn’t thought a glass bottom was all that desirable… I’d never store ground flower in the grinder anyway but I have to admit it’s nice to be able to see how much you’ve ground at a glance without taking the grinder apart. All in all - It works very well. The flower comes out nice and fluffy and it’s very easy to clean the inside of the grinder when done. I have to admit, this grinder is my favorite out of the half dozen I’ve accumulated. It has a nice heft, it looks wonderful, and it performs splendidly. Considering the fact that it’s entirely machined from aluminum alloy, it seems to be a bargain at this price.

I’ve owned a handful of grinders over the years, from cheap gas station ones to more premium four-piece setups, so I kind of know what I’m looking for at this point. This one caught my eye because of the built-in jar—it’s a cool idea, and honestly, the storage capacity is a nice touch. I can grind a good amount and not have to transfer it into another container, which is super convenient. The build feels pretty solid. The aluminum alloy body is sturdy, and the glass jar is surprisingly thick—not the fragile kind that feels like it'll shatter if you look at it wrong. It's easy to grip and the 2.5" size gives it a good feel in the hand. That said, there are a couple of letdowns. The biggest one is that there's no screen to catch pollen or kief. Everything just falls into the jar. If you're someone who likes saving that stuff, this grinder won’t cut it. Also, the grind itself is just okay, not super consistent, and definitely not as fine as I get with my older four-piece grinder.Threading can be a little awkward too. It doesn’t always screw together smoothly, and I’ve had a few moments where it felt like it might cross-thread if I wasn’t careful. It’s a solid option if you’re looking for something simple with built-in storage and don’t care about collecting kief. Great for travel or quick use, but definitely not replacing my go-to grinder at home.
