This is a powerful grinder designed for larger batches. It can be used to grind coffee, peppercorn, nuts, herbs, spices, and so much more.Be aware that it is quite loud much like the old fashioned blenders. It is fairly easy to use, but has a couple areas that could use improvement - the cover is hard to put back on, plastic pieces on the cover, the knob is hard to turn especially when you want to pulse. However it does have 2 settings for grinding, a lot of grinders don't have that. The 3 stainless steel blades is what makes this grinder efficient. A little larger than I expected, and the price point is a bit high for something I will only use occasionally.

I got this grinder mainly because of its large 600ml grinding capacity. It is double the capacity of my smaller current grinder but is also larger and much more powerful. The powerful 500Watt motor gets the work done so quickly and isn't too loud. It came with 2 extra stainless blades which is good, but it also has me wondering about the durability of the blades.I appreciate the suction cups that hold the base very securely to the countertop, preventing any shifting or movement of the unit while it is in operation.I find the lid does not close easily and it can be a bit tricky at first. There is a slot at front end to insert the tab and then the rear end snaps down into the cup. I have to use a bit of force to click it into place. If the lid is not installed or not installed properly the unit will not operate. This is a good safety feature to prevent accidents or spills. The grinder does an admirable job of grinding my coffee beans, dried chili peppers and other spices to my desired coarseness. I recommend not to fill the container more than 2/3 full at a time for best results.I found the speed knob a bit stiff to turn, especially in the pulsing position. The top container twists off for cleaning and they've included a filter and brush to make the job easier.Overall, I am happy with the size and performance of this grinder, and thought the price was very reasonable. Recommended.

The removable bowl makes it easy to clean. Comes with a brush for cleaning. I just have to dust off the excess powder and rinse with soapy water. The noise level is a bit noisy but it is to trade of for the high performance it delivers. I have use this to grind egg shell, rice and black pepper corn, which give me fantastic results. It can grind the rice into rice flour for me to work on my gluten free recipe. The trick of this grinder to be able to into very fine powder is do not fill over 1/3 full in the container. You have to follow the instruction carefully for operation time. There is a overload cut off power function to protect the motor for over heat. You cannot use over 15 mins. Once the cut off button is activate. It will takes about 45 mins to cool down rather than the 30 mins said in the video. It only take 3 mins for me to grind the 100 grams of pepper corn into fine powder. There is 2 operation mode. There are 3 mode. The left is the pulse button which is in not in a English language marked on the machine. The right turn get 2 mode of different speeds.I do not encounter any difficulties for this machine. It works as described. Overall it is a good product and strongly recommended.

I was a little leery at this price point, but after having used the removable bowl I am well contented at the value. I mostly use spice grinders for making supplements for cat food, or grinding up chunky freeze dried raw food (cat) nuggets into a fine powder for fast rehydration at meal times. But using spice grinders for raw food means you have to wash very well with hot water and soap. Something most grinders are not well equipped to handle. I would go through a regular type grinder ever 8-12 months. They just didn't seem to like the water, even though I went through gymnastics every time to minimize water getting in where it wasn't supposed to. But the first time I was able to remove the bowl and give it a hot soapy wash I was sold. The performance of the item is also great. The pictures included are making a vitamin supplement for pet food. Tons of hard pills, capsules, loose powder supplements. It processed them very smoothly. The only thing I had to get used to with grinding to a fine powder with this unit, is that I have to leave it sitting with the lid on much longer after the grind or else tons of clouds of powder escape everywhere. And keep escaping for a long time. Its due to the larger size of the bowl from what I am used it. But just leaving it sit a little longer takes care of it.The instruction book is not the best, and you will be left interpreting things a little. I was glad I was able to figure out that you need to put the lid on by positioning over the side near the pour spout first and then lining up the little plastic piece near the red push button. That was not well explained in the book.My only thing that didn't work perfectly was the 'pour spout'. The container is just too wide for things to funnel nicely down the little depression. You will just end up with powder all over the counter as in my last picture. But really this is no different than anything else. Just forget there is a spout there and scootch your product out with a scrapper or brush as usual.I will update my review in 8-12 months to report on longevity. But with the removable bowl I am very hopeful.

This grinder means business with its 500W motor and triple blade setup! The capacity is perfect for batch grinding - I can prep all my spice blends for the week in one go. Love that it handles both wet and dry ingredients (great for making custom blends with essential oils). The stainless steel construction feels solid, and the removable bottom is the best feature I can imagine for spice grinders. I can finally get the device properly cleaned! The included filter and brush are super helpful for maintenance. Now for the reality check: This thing is LOUD (like, wake-the-neighbors loud), but not louder than my Vitamix, so I'll take the noise for the power it delivers. Also, make sure you let the dust settle before opening, unless you want a spice cloud in your kitchen!Few quirks to mention: the pulse function can be finicky, and the instructions seem like they were translated by a confused robot. But once you figure out the basics, it's pretty straightforward.Worth the investment in spite of the price tag (90CAD) if you're serious about grinding your own spices and don't mind a bit of noise!

For 20+ years, I have used an old blender to crush my dehydrated pepper. The blender just cannot reliably grind the seeds leaving larger than desired flakes and seeds. After a lot of research, I bought this grinder. The container is not that large, but it will grind peppers and seeds to powder. It is so simple and I realy like the locking lid. I appreciate the siction cups on the bottom to hold it in place on a smooth surface.

I was really excited to gift this to my husband who makes his own dry rubs. He didn’t even get to use it as the product had a defect. You have to press a red lever on the bowl that is supposed to push down a red plastic piece that would push against a similar red piece on the base of the unit. When that happens, your grinder will engage. The red piece inside our bowl would not push down when the lever was pressed so our until never turned on. Bummer. We are going to return it and keep looking.
