These seem to be fragile in construction. Mine was received with broken plastic rattling around inside and the display loose. All of my friends with these have had similar experience with internal mountings being broken or other physical issues caused by shipping. Functionally, it's 5 stars especially with Spektrum smart batteries where it's just plug it in and charge.

It works but as soon as I pulled it out of the box the bottom was separated from the top because the plastic inside was broken. It’s crappy spending this much money to end up with something broken. Another thing Is it’s a common problem so if you return it who knows how many your gonna have to go through to get a good one. If you really need one I would go to a store and open it in store or just be prepared to try to fix your brand new charger when you get it.

I run alot of Spektrum smart LiPo batteries in several of my vehicles / plane. This charger is definitely a must using these batteries. It makes it so simple to charge and manage these batteries. My only issue with charger is that 1 of the sliding doors on front to protect plug port is broken. It doesn't stay up for me to plug battery in. Other than that I love the charger. Highly recommend

Finally a reasonable priced smart battery charger that will charge 2 smart batteries at 100W ea or 1 battery at up to 200 watts. Replaced the 6-8hr charger that came with out Losi Pro Moto and this one will do 2 in less than 1 hour. Can't beat it!

Reviewing S2100This thing is amazing! First, dual ports! This is a minimum in my estimation. Hardware power switch so you can leave it plugged in with the cable tucked away. Great display in low/bright light. Customizable tasks that are easy to select (you won't spend 3 min setting a task up). They have a door slide so you can connect IC3/EC3 and/or IC5/EC5 connectors, no more adapters HOWEVER you will want extensions so there's plenty of length to charge the batteries in a bag (lipo safety!). You can charge/discharge/store 2 batteries at once of any applicable size (huge plus) using any combination of the tasks (excellent). If you use the spektrum smart batteries, you don't need the balancer because it's built-in to the smart cables but any other brand/model will need it (get your extensions). It charges those smart batteries based off their safest, most efficient manner. My 3s/4s batteries go at 5A (and take around 20-30 min to charge from storage), when the task is near completion, the rate will drop until finished to ensure they're handled properly. Non-G2 batteries are around the same speed if the battery has similar specs. Time to complete tasks are pretty quick and auto stops (don't do tasks unattended, lipo safety!). Non-spektrum smart batteries are also detected with a balancer! Really a one-device-solution with my setup (spektrum G2 and ovonic batteries). I couldn't be happier with this product! Testing the G2 batteries have made me a believer in the entire smart ecosystem (using the ecosystem with the correct receiver/transmitter eliminates the need for some aftermarket sensors) and based off their power/runtime I'll be buying more! If you're looking to purchase a new charger, or upgrade your old one, I highly recommend these chargers (just pick the biggest one you can afford, or what you want to spend on a charger). These may be a little more expensive (not saying they are) but being plug-n-play takes the effort and guesswork out of battery management and gives you more time for fun! These are my own words and I have no affiliation to any company or brand...buy them and you won't regret it! IC5/EC5 extension cable picture attached, they have other cable types that confuse people with which to purchase, this is the correct one (if you want an IC3/EC3 extension, just replace the connector type number with a 3).

Operation of this Spektrum S2100 charger is very simple. It just plain works. Easily work your way through the menus, nice display and nice button layout/operation. My issue was the charger housing on the first unit. It literally fell apart during the second time use of the charger. With Amazon's exchange/return policy it was super easy to get a replacement.
