Spektrum Firma 8A Sensored Brushless ESC/Motor Combo 1/24 Rock Crawlers SPMXSEMC18 Car Speed Controls & Accessories

I don't know why this system gets all the hate, it's in one of my builds and I just ordered a second one. $15 for a brushless system, can't beat that.

Much better than stock

I figured ordering a spectrum sensored esc would have some form of programming to it but no it only has forward reverse with drag brake. Complete waste of time and money installing it in my micro b.

I'm pleasantly surprised by the quality of this kit.

Put this motor and esc in an scx24 rock crawler..this setup is not very smooth at low speeds..its pretty jumpy at crawling speeds.not bad if you want to RIP around fast..No good for a crawler..

This little brushless combo was a direct swap for the stock system in the axial Ax24. Plenty of torque and plenty of top end! The downside of this whole system is the slow crawl ability. It’s very twitchy and jerky while trying to low crawl. It’s not smooth until you get in the higher rpm range! I was able to pick this unit up for 14.99 I know when it first hit the market it was $100.So at this current price range, I thought I’d take a shot it’s a decent system. It’s just not perfect.

This is the best upgrade for the scx 24 period! Super simple install works perfect!

I like the small design. Easy to install. Not very smooth control. Has power and heats up quick. Wouldn't recommend for a crawler. Works great for a drive around truck.

This is the first negative review I have written on Amazon. This motor is so bad I wanted to take the time to warn people. I have loved spectrum products and have used their products for years. So when I saw they made a 1:24th scale crawler motor I jumped at it. It took a a while to get because I’m currently serving in Africa. When I got it it was packed great and the motor looked amazing. It installed very easily. The first bad thing I noticed is it didn’t have a slow crawl at all. I could actually crawl slower with the stock motor. There is no way to tune it other then the trim settings in the transmitter. That helped a very small amount. The second bad thing I noticed is I was only getting 15 minutes of run time on a battery. With my stock motor I was getting well over a hour. The third and last think I noticed and what pushed it over the edge was after two days of use the motor stoped working. It powers up and gives the tone but it won’t move the wheels. I have 3 other 1:24 scale crawlers all with aftermarket motors and they have all worked great. I would return this motor but I’m on a base and don’t have a way to return it. Don’t make the same mistake I did. Go with any other brushless motor.

Soo, da sich bislang noch keiner zu bewegt hat etwas über das Brushless System von Firma Spektrum 8A für die Axial scx24 Modelle zu Schreiben, tu ich dies nun. Ich habe einige Modelle, daher auch ein paar Fotos von 88Turn brushed Motoren bis zum 370er Motor mit dem Floh Regler. Alles hier bei Amazon zu finden !. ----- Eines vorneweg und das muß BEACHTET werden ---- das Combo Regler System funktioniert nur mit dem Allradlenkungs Modell AX24 von Axial und mit dem älteren Fernsteuerungsystemen der AX-4 Fernbedienung !!! Die anderen z.B. Bronco mit der blauen Fernbedienung Nr. HRZ000014 und dem blauen Regler / Empfänger HRZ00015 ist das Spektrum System nicht kompatibel. Da es Spektrum nur in der Bedienungsanleitung vermerkt hat und nicht wie üblich in der Beschreibung auf der Internetseite wenn man es kauft war das einzigste was mich etwas ärgerte. Kauft einer das System und wird nicht vor dem Kauf drauf hingewiesen das etwas nicht passt, sehr schade von Spektrum.Die Anleitung beschreibt die Verkabelung, Idiotensicher, also kein Problem. Es sind grade einmal die 3 Farblichen Kabel zusammenzustecken und das mini Sensorkabel an den Motor anstecken. Ein weißer Punkt zeigt euch an wie rum der dran soll. Kanal 2 an meinem alten Regler/Empfänger kommt das Servoähnliche Kabel. Gelb nach oben. Fertig. Kein Kabelsalat wie andere Foren das so schreiben. Das alte Motorkabel könnt ihr rausmachen, das braucht man nicht mehr. Letztes Bild zeigt euch den schwarzen Regler/Empfänger wo CH.2 einfach das Servokabel mit dem Reglerkabel nebeneinander im Empfänger drinnen steckt.Also beim anschalten kommt eine kurze Melodie und das wars schon. Keine weiteren Einstellungen. Losfahren und fertig. Die 3 Geschwindigkeitsstufen L/M/H die die AX-4 Fernsteuerung hat, kann man super gut weiter verwenden. Der Motor hat volle Power bis zu 8Amper und hat immer Kraft im Überfluß. Zeitlupentempo geht auch gut, allerdings mit enormer Power ! Kommt aber auch etwas auf die verwendeten Ritzel und welches Getriebe man verwendet. In den Achsen habe ich 13T Schnecken drin. Wer noch langsamer fahren will kann auch 16t verbauen. Ich bin glücklich es gekauft zu haben, da ich schon so manche brushed Motoren runter fuhr brauche ich nun kein Motor mehr tauschen weil die Kohlen runter sind. In Foren wird wenig bis gar nix geschrieben über das System, finde ich eigentlich schade. Soo, fertig. Bei mir bekommt das System volle Punktzahl 5 Sterne +++++Ein kleiner Nachsatz nach 2 Wochen Benutzung des Systems -Also Power ohne Ende, Feinfühligkeit lässt etwas zu Wünschen übrig. Vergleichbar der feinfühligkeit mit 50T brushed Motoren. Mit der enormen Power kommen die brushed Motoren natürlich nicht mit. Habe nun einen micro Crawler mit 12T Schneckenräder und habe nun n Bushercrawler. Total klasse für Leute die nicht nur Zeitlupe fahren wollen, das mach ich nun mit den anderen Modellen. Den hier nehme ich wenn ich Power brauch :-)
