The mounting tabs are wielded on the inside when they should have been wielded on the outside. That didn't matter to me because I need to raise the seat I was mounting an additional 3 inches. For someone that can wield or fabricate this will not be too much of a problem but for the average person this wouldn't work well.

When ordering my seats these are recommended, then I find out they also need other pieces to go with but I ordered. However none of the holes match up and I have to do all this fabrication and Drilling and I'm not that guy. When I buy something I expect everything to go together. I believe they call it plug and go. This is not. I have someone who's going to try to help me with it if they can't then I have to return them

Construction very good! Ordered buckets seats… Ordered these brackets… Unfortunately the seat mount holes do no match up with these bracket seat mount holes… I really hate to give a bad review as they seam built well… Just amazing wanting me to rate my experience… Sent these mounts back… Not because of bad quality… They just will not work.

Purchased this for a 71 Chevelle with new low profile racing seats. Since the floor of the Chevelle is mostly flat, Only a small amount of welding will be needed to fit and bolt these into the floors of the car. All of these seat mount brackets will require some sort of fabrication, nothing will just bolt in, these brackets will be useful in most pickup trucks as well again where you need to sit up higher vs. sports cars where your butt is close to the floor boards of the car. Solidly welded together, will take some hefty abuse, finish gloss black paint or powder coat I am unsure but look good. Had to make custom brackets to adapt the seat sliders to these brackets as will all others have to do the same thing.Hope this review has helped others make a decision with their interior projects.Good Luck

This mounting bracket did not fit the seats I purchased. I needed to fabricate a steel adapter plate to attach to the wider seat slider and seat. This bracket was for a driving simulator, so there is not a safety concern, but it was an inconvenience that the racing seat and mount bracket did not fit out of the box. Overall, the mounting bracket appears to be sturdy and well made (I just wish I had realized the size difference). Each "foot" is wrapped in a plastic film. After removing the film I did notice there was a small amount of rust powder on one of the feet.
