These fit true to my normal pant waist size. They're snug, but that means they're not going to move around while I'm swimming. Once I'm swimming they don't feel tight at all and don't restrict my movement. So far the material is holding up really well and they dry faster than longer jammers or shorts.

I have spent most of my 60 years in the water. Ocean, lake, and a lot of pool time. Countless swimsuits of all varieties, (styles, designs, materials), have been worn and discarded; board shorts, jammers, square legs, briefs. For lap swimming my go to use to be briefs, (swim team), later on jammers, (teaching lessons and even guarding). The happy medium has now settled upon the square leg. Speedo seems to be the brand that works best for me, (I have tried others), and the Endurance, while spending many hours per week in a chlorinated pool, is a no brainer. I have yet to have an Endurance suit wear out on me. I like my suits to be somewhat tight. My pant size is 33, I wear a size 32 speedo. This suit stays up, never gets baggy, and I like the simple black color. My wife, who is also a swimmer, says it looks good on me to boot. Overall, I rate this swimsuit highly and recommend to other lap swimmers.

C'est mon deuxième achat et ces maillots de bain sont incroyablement résistant. Je porte du 34 normallement et je conseille de prendre du 36 car ils sont serrés.

I normally wear size 34 or 36 jeans (depending on the brand). After reading reviews, I decided to order size 38 of these swim briefs (because many reviewers recommend getting a size up), and they feel great.I don't quite have a belly, but I have a bit more fat above the waist than I would like to have, so I did not want the briefs to be too small and too tight; that could look pretty comical on my body. Size 38 is sitting just a bit tightly, but not very tightly. The waist is also not too low, and I can squat comfortably in these briefs, without risking exposing too much of my back.I'm actually much happier with the fit and the look than I expected. The Endurance+ fabric is praised in every swimming related chat room for its longevity, so I have high expectations of long service life. I swim indoors 3 times a week, I'll update if my opinion of these briefs changes.

This will last a long time, but I would suggest you work more or get a better job and buy a proper one every couple years instead.Fabric is fairly restrictive and fit needs to be skin tight. This combination leads to the cuffs crawling up if you raise your knees up high. Not really a problem in general swimming.

Speedo is not my favorite brand, for more than one reason, one is their suits wear out faster than dolphin brand. But I like this suit and I bought it closer to my actual waist size. It fits snug, but from experience it will start to stretch out after @2 months. This is my second Speedo square leg, if you buy the waist too big, the legs will not fit (my skinny legs) snug which made me think I was being "exposed." My waist is @33, this suit is 34w. I swim laps twice per week.

I was tired of wearing long swim trunks that took forever to dry. This bathing suit is perfect - it doesn't slow me down and it dries quickly. The fit is great for lap swimming. I bought a second pair - one so I could hit the pool during lunch at work and a second for going to the pool on the weekends. It fit perfectly.

I tried these shorts on at Sport Chek before deciding to order online, so I was able to determine my fit ahead of time. As some have noted, it is best to order a size or even two larger than you might wear for other clothes. I wear a size 34 pant, but a size 38 for these shorts fits me perfect.

SizingThe most important points about this are to order one size up from what the guide tells you. This is not because I am an inexperienced swimmer, I used to swim competitively. I know speedos are supposed to be tight to reduce drag. I am 5'8" 155 lbs and I am fit (read I have 6 pack). I'm saying this to show off and also so you know what my point of view is. I do squats and deadlift, and my thighs are naturally pretty large. I think the 8% body fat I have is gathered on my innerthighs. I wear levi's 513's size 30 with the waist being perfect (read I can put 2 fingers in the waistline snugly), but the thighs are a little constrictive. So my thighs ARE a tad larger than average.I ordered the size 32 of this speedo. A little difficult to put on and that put my mind into already thinking it was too tight. Waist was perfect, don't really need the drawstring. My buddies down there were nested and protected by the liner; comfortable. The only thing was the leg openings seemed a tad too tight. There was a SLIGHT sausage effect that I only noticed from staring in the mirror and feeling around my thighs. But again, my thighs are a littler larger than average. My friend who swims on the Macau national team told me that it would loosen a bit in water. I trusted him and cut the tag. I am writing this after a swim session and he was right. the speedo was really comfortable and I think it is a perfect fit.Materialpolyester PBT blend seems the most long lasting on the market. They stretch, but it is not a super easy stretch like you get with spandex compression shorts. Material seems really durable.Speedo logo is embroidered which is nice.CutThe square cut is perfect for me. The leg openings do ride up slightly on the thigh. But I wear boxer briefs and this is a familiar and actually comfortable feeling. More modest than a brief speedo, but still lets me swim freely.

I bought this suit for two reasons: one, as a former competitive swimmer I hate the drag of swim trunks, and two, I wanted something a bit more modest than the traditional Speedo brief (but not as long as a jammer). This swimsuit satisfied both of those needs and I've been very happy with it. The material feels strong unlike some suits that stretch out quickly. At first the fit felt slightly awkward but I adjusted to it quickly. The drawstrings tie very tightly (they've never come undone) but are very long. In the water the suit feels great - I'm not constantly aware of it like I am with swim trunks. This swimsuit also dries off quickly, and is comfortable to wear for extended periods of time (on vacation, at a pool party, etc.). The only negative thing that I've noticed is that the inside of the legs can bunch up at times. Also, I read one review that suggested to order a size up and found that didn't work for me, as the legs were too long. So you might have to try a couple sizes to find the right one. All in all, a great swimsuit.
