Speedo has better quality swimming suit for sure. Most of other rush guard will not last for more than one summer, fabric are too thin and easy to stretched out.Speedo holds up much longer than regular brand.

We ended up returning the product. It’s relatively short. My daughter didn’t like it, the other company was a better fit. I liked the material- was very nice to touch.

This is the perfect rash guard for my son and eventually my daughter as well. The colors are bright regarding the gray body and pink dolphins on the armsMy child said it was comfortable and fit perfect. I found it to stretch quiet a bit and it does fit him a bit loose right now, so when this next summer rolls around it should fit him to what I would consider perfect. The flat-lock seams are great because they help protect from chaffing and irritation. Beyond that, the stitching on the entire piece is great - high quality thread, fabric and someone who took the time to stitch it correctly the first time around!The 40 SPF Rating is great, but we still apply sunscreen on his entire body before putting this and his trunks on for playing out in the sun.I did wash this, cold with tide original and hung it dry - there was no bleeding or any other kind of issues. It went is new and came out looking new.

My daughter is an intense outdoor water sports kiddo, who also LOVES pretty and girly things. She does synchronized swimming over 10 hours a week, and in the summer is constantly at water ski camp, sailing camp, camping, etc. She needs quality athletic swimwear and rashguard she can throw over it. And, most challenging, she loves pretty things, with fun prints, like dolphins (or mermaids, or unicorns or whatever). Thank goodness Speedo has finally made something to tick off all of these boxes. We got the swimsuit and matching rashguard for summer. Great quality. No more trying to persuade her not to pick "fashion" brands -- Speedo came through with something functional and cute. She LOVES the dolphins. Please make even more sets like this in the future. We will buy and many other families will, too! Also, some said this runs small, but it fits for my -- my daughter is about turn 10, generally wears an 8 (but is getting too tall for 8 bottoms), and a size 8 fits perfectly. She is very slim, though, so if your little one isn't, maybe size up.

My daughter is at that in between size. Some clothing she is a small in and some she is a medium. This medium fits her a little on the large side but in a few months I would think it will be perfect. Skin cancer sadly runs in my family and I do everything I can to make sure my kids are safe in the sun. I want to set them up to be well later in their life so I've always had them wear SPF rashguards from birth. This is a thin guard and the construction is fantastic. The stitching is what I would expect from Speedo and I should be able to use this through both kids. I didn't find any wash instructions but I washed like I do our swimsuits in cold water and then hang to dry. It drys quickly and because it's nylon and spandex I don't expect it to really fade and of course it retains it's shape. Overall, I love and this rashguard and have used Speedo products my entire life. Great quality!
