Been printing for years and this is one of the most poorly constructed squeegees i've ever encountered. Just get something else.

it does a good job of printing with my silk screens. . . i did need replacments as mine (the same brand) were getting old. it is a bit hard to get the ink off, and i do hate wasting ink. so i work at it a bit more that i'd like.

When I got this I had never screen printed before. That said, it was hard to say if the squeegee was good or bad because I didn't know how to use it. After printing for a couple of months and getting to know the squeegee I learned a few things. First, it was too big for the images I was printing. Not the squeegee's fault. Rookie mistake. Second, the blade is soft and flexible. This was compounded by the fact that it was too big for what I was printing. I have printed on paper and fabric. The soft blade definitely works better for fabric as it is advertised. On paper, it didn't work as well. It is hard to control pressure and it laid down too much ink. Lastly, it has a round blade edge. This, I believe, lends more to fabric printing. It softens the pressure and allows more ink to lay down. Again, this is coming from a newbie and it may be pretty common knowledge to more seasoned printers. All in all, it has held up pretty well. The wooden handle is hard to clean. It absorbs ink and gets stained. Looks artsy though. The blade hasn't cracked or come loose.

Speedball is cool I chose this one because of the blade is round and I wanted to try it out, and also you have some that have a straight edge blade which gives you better results in your screen printing so try out different edges to see which one works for you i'm new at this so i'm experimenting a little have fun.
