Speedball makes the best squeegee! I ordered this one because I have a 6" one that works perfectly for smaller width screens. This one is perfect for my larger screens. There is really no comparison. These are the best.

Good quality. Before this one I purchased a cheap generic product, and the blade ripped pretty soon. This one is nice and solid. If you're looking for a product that will last, buy this.

I really love this squeegee. I am learning silk screen printing and it has never failed me once. Its large enough for the designs I make and presses the ink correctly through the screen. I highly recommend it.

Works best for thinner, waterbased inks. It has a round edge on the squeegee side that can build up and hold alot of the plastisol inks.We did screen print with both ink types and had good results.**

Large, study and very well made. I love Speedball products. This squeegee worked perfectly with my new screen printing frame. Easy to clean and takes wear and tear with a breeze. If youve been using an old credit card, go ahead and invest in this little guy, it is well worth it. It has a nice little punch out hole to hang from the wall when not in use. Fits well in your hands and pulls very smoothly across screens. Very lightweight with a nice thick rubber rib for pulling your paints.

Squeegee was slightly too big for the 10 x 14 screen. It has to be drug at an angle. Also, if you are using this for emulsion coating, it falls short of being very useful. Meaning, it will spread a THICK coating of emulsion. It spreads it on TOO thick and unfortunately ended up wasting a whole screen and a whole bunch of emulsion.A solution to this is, use a credit card or a proper/finer edged squeegee for emulsion application.

I only occasionally screenprint. I have my own screen and inks, which I occasionally lend to people. One such occasion it came back sans squeegee. No one fessed up regarding who had taken it or broken it or whatever, but the fact remained that I needed a new squeegee. After looking at a bunch of cheaper ones (similar to what I had previously owned), I decided to purchase a higher quality squeegee. When I received it, I was not disappointed. It looked to be well-made, it was properly sanded so I would not be at risk of getting nonstop splinters, and the rubber squeegee part was secured with staples on each side.I ordered the 10" squeegee because I have a 10"x14" Speedball screen. It is a very close fit. I think the squeegee might actually be slightly larger than 10" or my screen opening slightly smaller, because this is very difficult to sweep over in one even pass. I solved that problem by just passing the squeegee over at a slight angle. After a few uses, I have noticed that the wood at the rubber squeegee part is starting to pull away from the rubber. I do not know if this is my fault from washing or drying it improperly, but I would hope that something that is going to be around water consistently would not warp as this one is doing. That is the reason I am only giving this four stars. The squeegee is still secured, but this extra gap makes it easier for inks to get caught in there and then ruin a later print. I might fill the gap with some E-6000 glue to prevent this from happening.
