The product worked well but the item sticker was hard to take off on the linoleum. There was some sticky residue left. Other than that everything was good.

Great value. I was able to very cleanly cut the whole board into a quarter sized bloc for my specific need. The lineoleum compound is lacking, as it is too hard and brittle for fine detail. In the end I carved THREE blocks to get a less than perfect result.

I used this Speedball Mounted Linoleum for a linocut workshop. With zero prior experience, I was able to carve and get a print that I’m happy with (for a first go). The linoleum was firm without being too hard to carve. I used Saral blue wax-free transfer paper to get the image transferred to the block, and then traced the blue outlines with a fine point Sharpie. The board backing made it easy to grip and most of the time I didn’t need to use a bench hook. This is not the best price you can find, but I needed the linoleum quickly and Prime got it to me ASAP.

This was my first time doing block printing, but I found that everything went wonderfully smoothly. The block cut cleanly with absolutely no tearing or splitting. Printing went off without a hitch, and cleaning the block afterwards was a breeze. I used it with the Speedball fabric ink (3570), and was very satisfied with the results. I bought two, and will be using the extra block for my next design. When I do more printing in the future, I'll be buying these blocks again, no doubt about it.

So happy I was able to find this for my project! Easy to carve and a whole lot of fun :)

I ordered two of these and they came well packed with no scuffs on the edges. The linoleum is also newer than some I have bought in local stores, as it cuts easily and is not as brittle, but this may have more to do with the temp they are stored at. Either way - they work great, print evenly, and I am very satisfied with them.

This is an excellent block, just about perfect for making images or print making. I was using an old vandercook press, as well as a more conventional table top press. Both made excellent prints. The surface of the block is easy to write and draw on, and soaks up permanent market so you can keep your image through multiple prints if you're doing a relief cut print. Also easy to carve, and the bottom layers are easy to distinguish.

Get these, not the unmounted and not the non-speedball ones. I am a linocutter since 2004 and do a lot of it. Trust me.Don't try those unmounted ones. First, the picture doesn't transfer as well. Second, they too easy to carve (mistakes galore). Third, they bend into your paper when printing, making all of the carved out areas show their ugly lines. I tried with them, but after all the effort of designing and carving, the stuff was so bendy that the carved out portions, pushed their way into my composition. Yuck!
