This is a great fix for the latch on the rear sunroof shade. Fits a 2019 Acadia Denali perfectly without having to remove rivets. We drilled a 5/64 pilot hole prior to the installation of the screws. Total installation time was about 5 minutes! Very happy with this purchase!

I was able to install in just a few minutes! Really liked that I didn't have to remove the old rivets. The screws that came with it worked great. So happy to have my back seat shaded again!

El tamaño fue perfecto... embono exactamente como debería y por el momento esta funcionando sin el menor problema. Tengo aun un poco de dudas en respecto a la duración (ya que no se ve muy fuerte)... pero ya el tiempo lo dirá.

... make sure you note the orientation! The lip that engages the sunroof hasp is closest to the opening and is on the bottom. I put mine in upside down, so it took me another minute to swap it around. You'll want to drill pilot holes first, so you might need to buy a 1/16" cobalt-oxide drill bit because general purpose drill bits probably won't work well.

This part is a perfect replacement for GM's poor latch design. Worked for a 2020 Buick Enclave. I found that it was best to use a 3/32" bit to drill a pilot hole first. GM should really consult this company on how to design a proper latch as this product is far superior. It is sturdier and securely attached.

I've seen videos of people grinding/drilling/sawing the remaining rivets to install a new OEM latch - a good reason why dealers are charging $100 to $240 to replace the broken latch. This product eliminates the need to remove the old rivets, and I don't think I spent even 5 minutes installing it in my 2018 Enclave. It fit perfectly. The 3-D print quality is extremely high with excellent surface finish and clean edges - looks beautiful.I used the part itself to spot a 3/32 drill and the supplied self-tapping screws bit strongly in the drilled holes. BOOM! Less than 5 minutes!I'm in Arizona and car interiors get pretty hot here, so we'll see how it holds up long term - but for now, I couldn't be more pleased. For under $20 and 5 minutes of my time - this is a "no brainer" for repairing your broken rear sunroof latch.

This latch part was well made and easy to install, though it does realistically require drilling a pilot hole for the supplied screws. I removed the remaining plastic of the original latch with needle nose pliers and a pick, and left the original rivets in place. The new latch (revision 2) has holes that fit over the rivet heads to accurately align the part. this latch was used to replace the broken latch for the rear moon roof shade on my 2019 Buick Enclave. You would find it very difficult to find a better part to perform this repair. I am a firm believer in original factory parts, but this piece is certainly an exception.
