I didn't love the that the pages aren't in alphabetical order. I'm sure it's done for a reason but it was difficult to flip back and forth. They also separate the uppercase and lowercase out of order so it was just not a hit for me. I do like the other Spectrum books however, but this one wasn't my favorite.

This book reminds me of the way I learned to write cursive words. I like that every time you learn a new letter, it combines that letter with old letters you learned. So you practice writing letter combinations as well.

My kids are enjoying it and easy to use. They're getting lots of practice. I don't like that some of the tails go up to the middle line instead of just above the baseline but that's ok. The kids like it.

If you need supplements for handwriting this workbook is great. Lot of practice and examples. It’s been very helpful.

Because of he school system doesn’t teach cursive, I’ll have my kids learn. This book is great to teach your elementary kids.

I like this Workbook. We use it in homeschool. We are starting cursive writing late because they no longer teach it in traditional school but it’s been added to my middle schooler’s curriculum in homeschool, He likes it and doesn’t care that it is suggested for a younger child. Great resource.

In this world of texting, cursive writing is almost a lost art. The kids do not know how to sign their names. Although some schools are integrating cursive writing again, many are not simply because classroom teachers do not have time during the day. If you are a parent or a teacher and you want children to grow up knowing this "lost art"- buy this book.It is a skill that comes in very handy especially when taking notes in the higher grades, and college.
