This is quite a capable spectrometer, with lots of features. Keep in mind, that you have to have some knowledge and understanding of what you are measuring to begin with from a light spectrum standpoint. It is designed to show you the measured levels of the light spectrum at the gathering point. This is designed for the person that needs to document or evaluate the specific light type being used.
