It offers high-performance fog-resistant protection, and is recommended for extreme weather conditions where heavy fogging can be a factor. It's available in clear (good for dusk and night matches), yellow and amber tints (good for low-light conditions to increase contrast for enhanced visibility), and a smoke tint (the best choice for bright sunlit days, especially in open areas).
If you find even the smallest crack on your paintball mask lens, you should replace it immediately. For safety sake, you should replace the lens at least once a year, even if it seems fine.

Direct replacement for my JTPro mask. My internal lens was actually cracked not the protective outside lens. I purchased the mask in 2008 and has been used for paintballing and then in the last 8 years for simunition. Easy to replace. Plenty of videos on YT on how to change the lens with minimal finger smudging. I used a lens cloth from my eye glasses and oakley lens cleaner. No streaking on either lens.

Das ist bereits das zweite Maskenglas bei dem sich die Innenbeschichtung bereits nach der ersten Verwendung ablöst. Die Beschichtung wird nach kurzer Zeit rissig und löst sich vom Glas ab. Ähnelt dann einer Salzkruste. Mit viel Mühe und einem Feuchten Tuch kann man die Reste der Beschichtung entfernen und dann auch wieder hindurch sehen. Aber das ist ja nicht Sinn der Sache.

Help see better is the woods. Also it add to the level of safety to the game. Has not Fogged up yet. Definitely a must for any serious woods baller.

JT apparently hasn't fixed their quality issues. I used this for two weekends and the inner lense started to flake. It was so bad that it was like looking through a kaleidoscope. I was able to scrape / rub it off enough to make it through the day, but my vision was impaired and I had to miss a few games while dealing with it.Extremely disappointed and I'll be moving to a new goggle system.RIP my red Flex 7.

Auch bei dem zweiten Glas, welches mir zügig und anstandslos übersandt wurde löste sich bereits nach dem ersten Einsatz stellenweisedie Anti-Fog-Beschichtung auf der Innenseite des Glases.. Offenbar ein verbreitetes Problem bei diesen Gläsern, da dieser Effekt auchbei meinem Original-Glas nach kurzer Zeit auftrat.Das Glas wurde ohne Diskussion zurückgenommen.

Awesome lens. Played in 85 degree weather, no fogging. Amazed at how crisp and clear everything looks with the yellow lens. Ideal for playing in the woods in shadowy conditions. Didn't try it out in direct sunlight with no shade, but you may want the smoke tint for that sort of playing area. I would recommend this lens for playing in the woods....a big improvement over a clear lens.

Ok mal abgesehen das Amazon keine gelbe sondern eine in SMOKE geschickt hat ist dieses Glasim Gegensatz zu den Werkmäßig eingesetzten mit einer breiten Gummiabdichtung versehen!Mich freut das sehr denn es ist ein Ding der Unmöglichkeit evtl. beim reinigen reingelaufenes Wasser wieder aus dem Zwischenraum zu bekommen!Ein Stern Abzug wegen der Hart besch.... Montage in der Maske!!!

I would like to start by saying that swapping the lens is difficult the first time, but much easier after knowing how. My first swap, I just looked up a how-to video online. Very easy after that.PRO: It is very much worth upgrading to a thermal lens over a stock, regardless of weather. If your lens might fog, get a thermal. Having played in very cold weather with and without one of these is the difference between playing with and without your eyes.CONS: While I airsoft with these now, when I paintballed with them, they were susceptible to cracking. Mostly only happened whenever I was shot in the face from very close range, but I frequently found small cracks along the bottom of the bridge of the nose. While you are supposed to swap them out after any goggle shot, I only did when the small cracks compromised the anti-fog.
