Works great. The old one was a bear to get off but once I got it off, this one went right where it was supposed to. Takes a bit of effort to lock it down properly but once it’s pushed home, it stays there.

Had the dreaded evap leak on my mom's 2008 Sonata se and after removing the access cover to the fuel pump and smoking the hell out of the evap system I finally concluded that the fuel pump assembly which is made of plastic was cracked and leaking gasoline fumes from the tank. The difficulty isnt so much in installing this ring which you must do very gingerly but rather so removing the old ring. I resorted to using an air chisel and a beefy one at that and trying not to creat any sparks in the process. This replacement ring worked perfect and fixed the problem after installing a new fuel pump and O ring too of course.

Getting the old one off takes a can of rust blaster, 4 days of soaking the old ring. Gas cap loosened, Creative chisel work, fire extinguisher handy, empty fuel tank, leaving fuel and vent lines attached so no spilled fuel. Beware the fuel tanks are poly and subject to damage.

Had to replace my fuel pump on my 2011 sonata after the engine kept stalling while drving. No engine light either. Had to break the old one to get it off, and this was a nice replacement. Trick to to have 2 people and push down on it while the other tightens it.
