The feet are different but I found them useful! However using them regularly for a month and the locks broke. Great value for a backup stand and or outdoor events in grass or sand. Large footprint solid base, but again the locking mechanism failed at a major event lately.

The metal hardware in the joints is what led me to purchase these, as I own a karaoke company and my fleet of hosts can be hard on speaker stan hardware that is traditionally made of plastic.These seemed a good alternative that would prolong the use of the stands.PROS: Metal hardware is durable enough with a good sized what appears to be machined security pinCONS : - The rubber foot cups fall off far too easily and are at risk of being lost quickly. - The inner pole that raises to hold the stand is too thin a guage of metal, it is very flimsy, I have dented several already with normal use, to support 12" powered speakers. - The caps in the inner poles fall out too easily, making it possible to crush the ends of the poles very easily.- The Inner pole is too short to raise the speaker up to a reasonable working height, at max extenson it becomes unstable as there is not enough of the inner pole sticking down inside the base for a secure hold.- overall the speaer stands are shorter than anticipated with a narrower footprint than anticipated. not good for 15" speakers at all.

Read some other reviews and they do not match what I received. These stands are solid as a rock. I put 50lb speakers on these. These are small stands so you don't want to try to use them as large stands. Perfect to get my center fills off the ground and up to stage level.

The height lock knob is cheap, hollow plastic - mine arrived with one broken. The feet are a nice feature, but the plastic cups don't stay on. The locking collar is cheap plastic with too much friction and it separates from the metal shell over it. These looked a bit better than average for me to use for regular mobile DJ gigging and didn't survive a single use. Returned.
