Used to monitor my solar cell input. I like the design.

Works as advertised. Takes a little patience to setup though. I am still tinkering with it to figure out it's accuracy. It is capable of providing very good information for a DIY battery box, which is what I am using it for.

This is an amazing, easy to use electronics meter. I put it on an electric bike (organic transit elf) that used to run out of battery unannounced leaving me stranded. This is easily programmable so you know exactly what your charge level is and how much power you have left, and so many other electronic stats — amps, mAh, etc. Quality device and a huge help.

4 stars because setting it up is not easy. Best to go on you tube for instructions.

I ordered one, installed it and it seemed to work great. Current draw, battery voltage etc was all working. I came out the next morning and the screen was dark. Tried unplugging everything and reconnecting but still wouldn't work. Not impressive.I asked for a replacement which was shipped quickly. I sent the old one back and installed the new one. After one day the screen started flicking off and on. After 2 days it was also black and is now going back for a refund.Piece of garbage, save your time and money and get something else.

This is my second meter I've added to my home built battery power station, one for power in (100 A meter) and 1 for power out (300A meter). Both measure the same voltage. Its nice knowing how much power I'm using and how much I'm outgoing back in.The only issue I have is the single button system for reading and resetting the values. You can't be in a hurry. It works but it's cumbersome.

I gave it 4 stars for the install as I had to use the illustrations for the install. There were no written directions. It has a clear readout on the display. As far as I can tell, it is accurate and shows the current draw when using the batteries. Good value for the money.

Everything else work fine. It is a good meter and worth the money. Just see zeros on internal resistance. I sent an email asking about it but no response yet. It has been a couple of weeks. That is the reason for the 4 stars.

I should have read the PDF manual before my purchase section 2.6 states there are two modes "normal " and "dormant". So when the screen is lit up that is considered normal and when the screen is off that is considered dormant. While the item is in dormant or screen off mode, it WILL NOT keep track of energy use, the screen HAS to ALWAYS be on to keep track of energy use. Before I knew this I reached out.to the seller and was told "you wired it incorrectly". No its wired correctly and is working as intended according to the PDF manual 2.6 that is attached to the item page. (And also this review) So although the item works and works well, the rating has been lowered due to the power that has to be used to keep the item working (tracking and also the bright backlight running). I'm sure everyone who is using one of these is because we need to track every little bit of power used, and with one that is adding usage I'm not a fan of. I do understand power is needed to operate, but it HAS to be on 24/7 in order to keep accurate track of usage. You can not just connect.it, turn the screen off and check on it occasionally. If you did that it would be right where it was the last time you checked, the runtime would still be where it was days ago and the power usage the same also. So I just wanted to let everyone know what to expect. It will work but at the cost of precious enerfy.

I used this to replace the ~35 yr old analog meter on my boat. It is a pretty tiny unit so it fit in the same spot on the panel; just needed to widen the opening a little with a Dremel. The only thing it doesn't do is measure current in both directions (if you generate more than you draw, it reads 0 Amps).Other pros:* draws almost no current on its own, even with the backlight (* backlight is easily turned on/off* stable reading down to 0.01 Amp and 0.01 Volts* the included shunt feels solid* $25 CAD!!

I knew for the price it was going to be a hit or miss. I installed this on my rv, seemed to work for an hr, then I noticed the only display was voltage.
