Give it a week or 2 and you will not have mosquitoes. Follow directions carefully. Works by the lake and in the woods. We no longer use bug spray on our properties. We’ve been using this for years.

They work extremely well. I have positioned three of the canisters in my back garden (see the red X's in the picture). One in the tree at the far end of the plot, one in the left hand corner behind the pool pump screen and one on a tree at the far right. Before I placed the spartan's I would be bitten every time I sat outside. Now I can open the mosquito net on my gazebo and enjoy the sun without fear of constantly being bitten. Sure, I still get the odd one. But this product makes a huge difference.

These really help decrease the amount of mosquitos in our yard. My children haven’t gotten but a couple of bites this whole summer. But if we go half a mile down the rode to visit family we will be swarmed. There is no smell. It lasts even longer than the 30 days it says. It has transformed our yard and we no longer have to put on bug spray everytime we go outside.

I live in the south surrounded by water and mosquitoes. For years we had a person come spray for mosquitoes every 2-4 weeks but I felt so bad seeing dead bees and butterflies which were inadvertently being killed by the spray. I finally convinced my spouse to let me try these spartan tubes and they have worked great. They work same or better than the spraying and definitely don’t see the dead bees and butterflies anymore. My property is lake-side and it takes 6 tubes a month including one on our dock. Even at 6 tubes it’s actually about $20 cheaper per month than the spraying. Plus we don’t have to be stuck indoors for a couple hours to prevent injury during and immediately after spraying.It’s important to read the directions for proper placement of the tubes. They aren’t supposed to be placed right where people gather because they attract mosquitoes to the tubes.If I could change one thing it would be to have a refill pack to add to the existing tubes because I don’t like wasting so much plastic. That being said, it’s necessary to prevent mosquitoes where we are and at least I’m not harming pollinators in the process.

Wish i had seen the bad reviews before i bought the 140 dollar package. Did everything as described and no dead mosquitos. I cant sit on my back porch without getting bitten. Then i found out about a lawsuit... wish i had seen that too. Don't buy people...

I know other people who say they don’t work for them but I have been using for several years and have had less mosquito activity. I think it’s consistent use that makes a difference. I have a pond on the property and a creek so there is plenty of water near the house for mosquitoes to breed. I put these in a large circle around the house all year and like I said good results. Before I started using these we had plenty of those large striped mosquito commandos who were on you every time you step out.Although I would like it more if they cost less!

We had amazing luck all.summer with very little to no bugs.... And we live in swamp lands. I highly recommend!!

Mosquitoes have been an issue at our house for years (neighbors have a stagnant pond). We have used bug spray, citronella candles, bug zappers, and the battery powered aroma devices and have never noticed much of a decrease in the mosquitoes. These hanging bait devices worked great all summer. We changed them out each month and were able to sit outside in the evenings without being pestered by mosquitoes.
