These paper towels are of a higher quality than their price would imply. They are fairly thick compared to the really cheap one-ply paper towels, yet don't cost nearly as much as the other known name brands. The pick-a-size option is also good to have and helps to cut down on wasting them on simple tasks. I would recommend these if you’re looking for a high value option.

I've never done a head-to-head comparison of this brand with the big names, but it's good enough. Perforated to tear into smaller sheets and save money and trees.

I can't say enough about these paper towels. They are the perfect thickness and the fact that you can go ahead and use just a tiny little square without ruining the entire towel is genius. Because let's face it some jobs just do not need an entire paper towel you just need half of it. The best value for the money and they last forever because you are not wasting them. Absolutely genius! I cannot for the life of me understand why these were not invented 50 years ago!

These days, choosing paper towels might seem like a simple task, but once you face it, you realize that there are so many nuances that it’s not as straightforward as it seems. For example, one of the issues is that while we can fly into space, we still can’t tear off a piece of paper towel in the exact size we want, but only in the size the manufacturer has predetermined by perforating the sheet.Some brands try to be clever, and this is exactly the case here. Sparkle Tear-A-Square technology allows you to tear off not just half a sheet – you know, the usual size of a paper towel – but a quarter of it. Innovative, isn’t it? That’s probably why the manufacturer claims that two rolls of these towels are equivalent to four regular rolls.Honestly, I can neither confirm nor deny this claim because it would require me to count every single piece of paper I tear from these towels and compare it to how many I tear from regular towels, then do the math. That’s too time-consuming, so let’s focus instead on how they perform in their primary function.I conducted a small test. I poured some water onto a countertop, tore off a quarter sheet, and wiped it up. The absorption is great, and I want to note that the material of these towels is quite soft, but even after getting wet, it remains durable, almost like fabric. Almost.In conclusion, I can recommend Sparkle Tear-A-Square paper towels for their effectiveness and durability. However, their claimed cost-efficiency is still questionable.

These are thin, and less absorbent than other brands. However, I wasn’t expecting luxury. I bought these because I ran out of Bounty and didn’t have time to make a trip out to Costco for more.I like that these have perforated squares to rip each strip in half! It makes them easy to use for napkins. But as I said, they are thin, scratchy and more of them are required to absorb spills. 3 stars
