The SparkFun Qwiic MicroPressure Sensor is a miniature breakout equipped with a 25psi piezoresistive silicon pressure sensor. This MicroPressure Sensor offers a calibrated and compensated pressure sensing range of 1 - 25psi, easy to read 24 bit digital I2C output, and can be calibrated and compensated over a specific temperature range for sensor offset, sensitivity, temperature effects, and non-linearity using an on-board Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC). With its ultra-low power consumption and Qwiic ports, you've got yourself a power packed little sensor!

Each Qwiic MicroPressure Sensor has a calibrated pressure sensing range from 1-25psi and a power consumption rate as low as 0.01mW typ. average power, 1Hz measurement frequency for ultimate portability. Used in industrial (air braking systems, gas and water meters), and consumer uses (coffee machines, humidifiers, air beds, washing machines, dishwashers), the SparkFun Qwiic MicroPressure Sensor is a great addition to the SparkFun Qwiic ecosystem!

The SparkFun Qwiic Connect System is an ecosystem of I2C sensors, actuators, shields and cables that make prototyping faster and less prone to error. All Qwiic-enabled boards use a common 1mm pitch, 4-pin JST connector. This reduces the amount of required PCB space, and polarized connections mean you can’t hook it up wrong.

Online hookup guide includes optional units of measurement that can be updated in the code.

Initial use of device with example software worked great. After working great with application code for a few hours, the sensor output only gave nan (error code). This was the 4th one to fail.

I bought this for a boost sensor project. Just so everyone knows that the 25psi this is rated at includes the (around) 14.4 psi of pressure around us. That being said, about 11 psi remains for positive pressure measurement.

As always, another quality offering from Sparkfun. The sensor is fairly accurate and can measure all the way down to 0.5 psi. Ordered here to save on shipping.

The module arrived on time and in perfect condition. I hooked it up to a Nano and was able to get positive pressure and vacuum readings as expected. I like having the Qwiic connector which will allow me to easily daisy-chain a display and hopefully a relay. This will be part of control unit for maintaining vacuum pressure in a vacuum press for woodworking.

Ordered this product multiple times because I have an ongoing project that needs multiple pressure sensors. Amazon chooses to ship this in a bubble mailer which is not appropriate for this sensor. The protrusion that sticks out for the pressure tube is fragile and I've received multiple damaged sensors because of the shipping/packaging.Pressure sensor, 5/5 would buy again. Also, fyi, it is an absolute pressure sensor, meaning when you plug it in it will read out ~14psi due to atmospheric pressure, and then you can read up to ~10psi above atmospheric pressure. Also, the QWIIC connectors... absolutely worth it. Just go ahead and buy the QWIIC board from sparkfun. An absolute time saver with basically no additional cost.
