4 stars because the part where machine sits is flimsy and with Nespresso Vertuo Pop you still have to push down to close. It seems weak. Maybe I’ll think of something to reinforce that part. Otherwise good shelf. Fits Vertuo pods nicely. The rest of the shelf is wood looking and looks nice on the counter. It is bulky but still worth it.

The drawer works well, nice metal rack with evenly spaced slots for capsules. The nice thing is that it doesn't matter what size capsules you get, you can load multiple sizes in and still get the max usage of the space.The downside is the top.A. Its just a little too short to really have a Vertuo on top of it, it works if you use the cup tray, but if you remove the tray to use a travel mug there's nowhere to put it as it would be hanging off the edge of the unit.B. The top is just a cheap slide in to the frame, so if you use the vertuo as intended, pushing down on the lid to close it, it puts too much pressure on the thin piece of wood. Meaning you either have to hold the unit steady as you close the lid to avoid that pressure, or do what I did and cut your own piece of wood to put on top of the frame, which is what they should have done in the first place.

This fits all of the Nesspresso Vertuo that I like and more and looks great as I don't care for glass and stainless steel.I had a bit of an issue as the pod rack or the drawer itself was a bit low on one side and the edge of each pod on that side either clicked or required lifting up the drawer so it would slide out. I did a bit of engineering on that side to bring the rack up about 3mm. Now it works as intended. The assembly ir the jig was a touch off when it was being created is all.No need to return it and hope its replacement was correct. This is a keeper. But the way, the Bamboo this is made from is quality and not old and dried out.

This is a nice looking piece that will work well if you don't have to set something heavy on it. However, the bamboo top is too flexible. Setting my Nespresso machine on top caused it to flex, blocking the pods in the drawer. Worse, the machine sits at an angle because the top bows, so a small, light glass cup for espresso slides off the platform while the coffee brews.I did like the storage drawer, though - nice organization. Just not for me.
