How to choose wax ?
We recommend that you use soy wax for your scented candles. Ohcans soy wax is made from natural soybeans. Soy wax has a soft texture, fits closely with the cups, blends well with essential oils, and burns for a long time without smoke or odor, making it a good material for making aromatherapy candles. I was hoping that this kit would get me started in making some candles for Christmas. This was a good starting place for making some fun candles for Christmas presents. The wax melts easy enough and it was really easy to mix in color and scent.I also got rave reviews from the ones I made candles for.The kit arrived very quickly, and I had plenty of time to make these last minute presents.Great value for money and I think I wanna keep making candles for myself as well.

It melted very simply and easily. I was able to pour it into containers and the waxing to burn nicely.

My box arrived missing 4/5 of the glue stickers and none of the centering devices. I was able to purchase some more stickers and luckily I was making shorter candles so the centering devices weren't crucial, but very annoying to not get a complete set

The wax melts very quickly and has a very pleasant, almost marshmallowy natural scent. Honestly, you might not even need to add scent to it. I loved how it came with plenty of everything, making me not have to go and buy more stuff to make the candles. I only wish that there were a few more wick centerers, so I could make many at once.

I HAVE to use a clean wax, and I love this one! I’ve used several others, and I like the lack of smell, lack of smoke, even burning (with correct number of wicks) and super easy to work with.Got the 2lb bag to try it for holiday crafts, will continue to use this brand next year!

the wax is great (as expected). the kit is great - wick holders and wicks. but the wicks are designed for small narrow candles - not wide ones. with wider candles, a single wick burns down and leaves a wall of wax ...
