I bought this along with the aluminum pin inserts mainly because I have split several arrows after hitting them from behind and regular plastic knocks do little to protect the arrow. I use carbon arrows with 0.244" Internal diameter and the aluminum inserts match this, this type of plastic knocks seem to be universal size but it is best to make sure that the pin size in the insert is the same as the internal diameter of the plastic knock. The plastic feels a lot harder than the ones in regular knocks and the fit very tight in the pin insert. The arrows are better looking now!. Just yesterday I confirmed this was a good idea as I grazed another arrow from behind and this time and only needed to replace tha plastic knock which is a lot better than loosing and arrow or having to cut it down in size. The translucent yellow color is very nice looking so the other options like green and red must also be very nice. I will buy again.
