The smooth operation of the vise action design aligns the pawl behind the frame and draws it up tight with a single continuous half-turn motion. Its compression action provides consistent 0.25-Inches pull-up for environmental sealing in gasket applications, and helps reduce or eliminate noise and rattles caused by vibration. Over-center latching resists accidental opening due to shock or vibration. Easy-to-grip knob and handle-actuated styles provide quick, simple access. These styles restrict access and discourage vandalism. Gasket models satisfy NEMA 4 and IP-65 applications. Available for EMI/RFI sealing. STAY FAR FAR AWAY !!!I HAD ONE OF THE WORST EXPERIENCES AT ACTION POWDER COATING .LAST YEAR I WAS CUSTOMIZING MY LATE SONS CAR BY ADDING SEVERAL POWDER COATED PEICES . VALVE COVER' SPARK PLUG COVER ' 2 SWAY BARS UP FRONT AND TWO IN THE REAR ' ALL 4 RIMS ' THE COLD AIR INTAKE AND THE MANIFOLD . AND SOME OTHER SMALL ITEMS . THE PROBLEM STARTED AFTER ABOUT THREE WEEKS AFTER EVERYTHING WAS INSTALLED I Noticed THE POWDER COATING ON THE MANIFOLD WAS CRACKING FROM THE HEAT FROM THE MOTORSO I CALLED AND SPOKE TO ONE OF THE OWNERS AND EXPLAINED WHAT WAS GOING ON AND HE SAID NOT A PROBLEM BRING IT BACK AND HE WILL MAKE GOOD ON IT . I TOLD HIM I DONT DRIVE THE CAR MUCH THAT I WILL BRING IT DOWN IN THE SPRING TIME . SO I DID JUST THAT .WHEN I GOT THERE THE ONE OWNER I SPOKE TO WAS NOT THERE BUT THERE WAS SOMEONE ELS ONE OF THEIR EMPLOYEES SO I EXPLAINED WHY I WAS THEIR BRINGING THE MANIFOLD BACK BECAUSE I WAS TOLD THAT I HAD TO POLISH THE MANIFOLD FIRST THEN POWDER COAT IT TO GET A CHROME LIKE FINISH .BUT BY POLISHING IT MAKES IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR THE PURPLE POWDER TO STICK . BUT THATS THE WAY IT WAS SOLD TO ME .THE GUY I DELT WITH HAD A BIT OF AN ATTITUDE .AFTER A WEEK OF IT AT THE SHOP I CALLED TO SEE IT WAS READY AND LADY ANSWERED THE PHONE AND SAID YES COME DOWN TO PICK IT UP . I WENT DOWN THERE AND THE GUY WANTED $. 100:00 BEFORE HE WOULD BRING IT UP TO THE COUNTER . THATS WHEN EVERYTHING CHANGED !! THIS GOONIE FREAK CAME OUT WITH BASKETBALL HOOPS IN HIS EARS AND GOT RIGHT IN MY FACE TRYING TO INTIMIDATE ME YELLING AND CURSING UP AND DOWN SO I KINDA GAVE IT RIGHT BACK . HE THEN WENT TO HIT ME AND PULLED MY JACKET OVER MY HEAD PUSHING ME SO I FELL OVER SOMETHINGS THAT WAS LYING ON THE FLOOR. I GOT BANGED UP TO SAY THE LEAST . SO I CALLED THE POLICE . BECAUSE I WAS ALONE THE SIX GUYS IN THE SHOP TURNED IT ALL AROUND AND SAID I WAS THE ONE WHO STARTED THE FIGHT !!!!YEA ME AT 57 IS GOING TI PICK A FIGHT WITH 6 GUYS AT ONCE ... LMFAO. THINK TWICE BEFORE GOING THERE THATS ALL I HAVE TO SAY

Replaced Southco key units with knob style and they are a perfect replacement. I can now throw the key away.

Latches arrived very quickly, and were exactly what we ordered. We appreciate the quick turn around! Glad to know that we could find them, and replace the broken ones on our motorhome.
