I like this speaker, but one gripe I have is that when I turn off my PC, it turns off the speaker and does not remember the last power state. All my other speakers come back on when power is applied via USB. So this is just yet another item I have to turn on along with my PC and monitor. I'd give this a 5 star rating otherwise.

Way better than any monitr speakers and really compact. I hooked up a little tray that attaches to my monitor's VESA mount so that it doesn't take up any desk space. I was looking for something that offered quality sound, but it's just for my office so I didn't require something earth shatteringly loud. And the price was right.

Know what you are buying! This is a pretty low-volume, no-subwoofer speaker. It's miles above laptop or in-monitor speakers, sound is good and clear. By no means will this rattle your house, but for low to moderate volume in front of the PC, it's perfect!

Really good sound quality and for a great price! Extremely easy to connect (plug and play, pretty much). I was surprised how easy was to connect with ps5. Kids loved it!

Happy. However, it turns off randomly every 20 to 30 min except when immersed in a game. Will coninue to try workarounds before seeking refund.

I was looking for a compact speaker that could provide dialogue clarity for watching movies at my computer. So, I recently acquired an ultrawide monitor. It's really nice to watch movies on. I wanted to finally re-watch the LOTR Trilogy. While watching it and using my portable bluetooth speaker, I sometimes found it hard to hear what people were saying. The start of The Fellowship of the Ring was especially difficult to hear when Bilbo and Gandalf were having conversations inside Bilbo's home. As they had their quest to destroy the ring, I had my quest to find a speaker for watching movies. After lots of research and a different speaker purchase, I came to this one. At first I tried a Roku Streambar. Unfortunately, that speaker won't work with a PC as there is no HDMI ARC/eARC from my PC (or most PC's for that matter). I tried using the SPIDF connection to no avail. Returned the speaker and off to find something else. I didn't want to spend much money, so this was at a decent pricepoint. The Streambar was just above 100 bucks. But I had a giftcard for a local retailer so it would have basically been free to me. So I shelled out the much lower cost of the Sound Blaster GS3 out of my own pocket.I used the speaker to watch Return of the King. There weren't many issues hearing any of the dialogue. There were a few parts where it was a bit muddled but at least I could hear it. The clarity isn't superb, just acceptable. I also have to put the volume up pretty loud to make the sound worth hearing. It's a pretty compact speaker, which is ideal for a crowded desktop such as mine, but compact has its downfalls (sound quality).Overall, if you're looking for an improved dialogue quality over some cheaper speakers or music oriented portable bluetooth speaker (mine is a JBL Charge 5) and desktop real estate is limited, then this is a decent choice. My movie viewing experience is improved, and it didn't hurt my wallet too bad.A decent plus, you can turn off the RGB lol. I know many of us have so much RGB on our desk setups already that maybe this might be overkill. So i'm glad I was able to kill the RGB.

I was looking for a soundbar for my gaming / editing / hobby music system because my two satellite speakers died. There are so many options on Amazon for sound bars, from everything for cheap ones that look just like this, to audiophile movie theater quality ones. I, since I'm a gamer, looked at what Creative and Razer had. I was seriously going to drop more cash. I liked some of the cheap similar price other soundbars too that also had RGB but they were from brands I never heard of. This one by Creative randomly showed up for me and one person reviewed it and said, heck, I'm going to try it. The sound seriously is pretty dang good. It doesn't have as many tweeters and a separate bass as other options, so I was worried but the sound quality is more than enough. It's not cheap sounding at all. I listen to a ton of metal & hardcore and the bass it does have still gives me a good rumble / boom. The connectivity is awesome and works great too. No fuss. No issues. And it's well made. The only thing that would be an upgrade from this would be the the highest end from Razer and Creative (like Katana). But I highly recommend trying this out unless you have extra to spend and you're doing something a bit higher than hobby level, like say Youtube production or Twitch or gaming more seriously. I also bought two more side speakers to get true 5.1 but after trying it out, I decided the single soundbar was enough. I've been making music and doing Youtube video editing off this sound bar and when I really need to focus on small naunces on sound, I'll use my headphones. I found connecting my headphones to the soundbar vs my gaming board wasn't a noticeable difference other than I had less buzzing at high volume. But seriously, at this price, and right now there's even a deal, it's totally worth buying on value alone. It's just that good for what it is. And even if I do ever go for the Razer Kraken or Creative Katana or similar, I'd still keep this GS3 for something else. It's that good.

This is the latest soundbar from Creative Labs and I’d say sized well for below most monitors. The sound is surprisingly good with enough bass for the games and music. The Super Wide Sound mode button activates the wider soundstage and it raises the treble slightly while keeping decent bass intact. The light bar while functional doesn’t really add much to the design, so I leave it off. With the latest Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity is excellent. If there is any downside it would be that it uses just the basic audio codecs for Bluetooth and nothing on the Hi-res audio side. That said, latency doesn’t appear to be an issue given the BT 5.4.On sale I believe this soundbar is likely hard to beat but, I think it is also good value at the regular price too versus the competition. It has a USB C cable included for PC / PlayStation and also a 3.5mm AUX input and a Headphone out Jack on the side where the dial controls/buttons are.

Best affordable computer sound bar. Highs and mid are crisp and clear, bass is great for its size, more than others I've tried. The superwide functionality just kind of spreads the sound a bit like having surround sound, not too crazy but a nice little bonus to dialogs clearer.Lights is just a bonus if you're into that stuff. Actually reminded me of the 80s knight rider car :)Don't expect this to rock the entire house, its not a 5.1 home theater sound bar but from sitting in front of the monitor to 5ft away I bet you will not regret buying this speaker.

I have been switching between using this for my PC and PlayStation. It detects and switches inputs automatically between USB and aux which is very convenient and nice. Love that is has a nice large physical volume knob.Sound quality is great and is a nice comfortable volume at low levels
