Well made and earns your trust when pulling engines out of boats. Hooks are good size. Well worth the price.

These work well and are noticeably heavy-duty. The only thing I didn't like was that they are the dirtiest brand-new chains I've ever worked with. I'm sure anyone in the 'industry' would say that's just how heavy duty chains are, but they are really messy right out of the box. Anyway, they work well.

The item took a very long time to ship, came in a small nondescript box, and just about knocked me over with how heavy it was. I feel like I gave my Amazon delivery guy a serious workout, and tipped him afterwards with the thank my driver tip.The chains themselves look extremely sturdy, and I haven’t had a chance to use it yet for actual lifting, but wanted to note that it comes in a strange Styrofoam case, as if to protect the sturdy metal chains from jostling on the trip, and that the Styrofoam case, chains, claws, and everything else are coated in a thin layer of dark sludgy grease.The grease is probably standard in items of this sort, but it smells awful as well, like battery acid.Still, for the price of you need to lift something massive (as we soon will) then this should do the trick. Just make sure you’re in a well ventilated space.
