I'm a dog trainer at a big corporate dog store and the hats that the corporation gives you suck and none of them would fit dogs like Chihuahuas or shih tzus just dogs with small heads and so I tried these even though they're meant for guinea pigs. They fit perfect. If anyone else is looking for a graduation hat for their photos for their dogs, these are perfect for small dogs and puppies!

I wanted to take graduation photos with my dog for law school, but he’s a Chihuahua mix so most of the pet grad hats I could find on Amazon would have been too big on him. These are perfect for a small pet. And the drawstring keeps secure on their head, no matter how fussy your pet may be. My dog was fine with it, but as you can see my cat was *not* a fan. But when he ran away when I put it on his head, the drawstring kept it on. The only negative thing is that the ball at the end of the drawstring doesn’t have a stopper at the end of the string so the ball can come off if you pull it all the way down, and it’s a bit annoying to get it back on. Since I only needed these for photos though, it was a nonissue.

These were perfect to add to gifts. We bought these to add to some graduation gifts for my son’s teachers when he graduated high school, and they are so cute. They are made well, and works very well for our purposes. They’re also cute as little hats for small stuffed animals. Really happy with the product.

They are so cute and worked well on the toys I got my friend as a part of the graduation gift. I even put a little bit of ribbon to match her school's colors. It would be able to work on a pet, but that isn't what I wanted to do for her. Instead I put one of them on a Belle (her favorite disney princess) squishmellow.
