Tried other clock radios featuring am. This is easier to use. Others have too many bells and whistles and are hard to navigate. Good for the price.

The radio tuner and volume controls are cheap dials. Very hard to find a station on the tiny, cheap radio tuner dial and even after tuning in, the station drifts away and has to be re-tuned in. Also on the unit we bought the pre-installed backup battery arrived dead.

Product is pretty reasonable. Very easy to read numbers on the clock face. The buttons are on the small side, so you have to get use to how they feel in the dark when you are waking up. The one down side on this product is the FM radio tuner -- it's very small, difficult to read and does not have good resolution. (Analog, really? In this day and age?) I had to give up getting it to tune to the station I would always wake up to (the reception was poor) and had to settle for a different station. Other than this, this product is fine.

The Sony Clock Radio I purchased is wonderful. It's a cube with AM/FM radio access. It’s small, compact and fits nicely on my bed side stand. The clock night light can be turned very low so the brightness doesn’t effect your sleep. I was impressed that on the day I received the radio, I received a letter from one of the owners of the company I purchased the product from. The letter gave me contact numbers in case of a problem and thanked me for the purchase. I would strongly recommend this for anyone who doesn't use their smart phones for bedtime purposes. Great product, great price and great customer service. What more could you ask for??
