I still have a land line with answering machine. Over the years the microscassettess wore out from use.I couldn't buy them anywhere but Amazon had them!

Petite enregistreuse d'il y a 30 ans redécouverte par notre petite fille! Elle n'avait qu'une seule cassette. Wow! Exactement la même cassette que les 3 neuves que nous venon de lui offrir. Belle qualité de son. On voit que Sony traverse bien le temps! Bon achat!

My former boss - I just retired again in January I'm nearly 70- has a microcassette recorder and broke it. I found a new microcassette recorder and these 3M microcassettes for him on Amazon, right where I knew they would be. The recorder worked great and these 3M microcassettes are the best kind. My previous bosses used them as did my husband.

Glad I could get these. I lent my little recorder to an older gentleman that was going to do record his memoires. He wanted a simple machine he was used to. I had a few tapes extra - was glad I could get these at a reasonable price. Older tech may be not as needed daily, but it is not obsolete for specific purposes and for certain people that just want simple.

The product seems fine,as expected. My disappointment is with the delivery. I did not expect to have to sign for the delivery. It seems a signature was necessary. I was out when the postman called. Therefore, although the package was small enough to put through the letterbox, I had the inconvenience of going to the collection depot. (Of course only open at certain times.)

I was pleased to find these still available at Amazon. Most local stores quit selling them when Sony quit making tape recorders for the consumer market.The package of tapes I received from Amazon was made in Mexico. I placed another order from another vendor for 30-minute micro-cassettes, and those were made in Thailand. The made in Mexico tape seems to be sightly thicker and more generally robust, while the Thailand tape seems thinner and more prone to skewing. Previous Thailand-sourced Sony tapes have also been prone to early breakage, so I was happy to see the Mexico-sourced product.
