This bench is very nice. At least the finish and shape are nice. The package did NOT include tools/hardware, despite this line "Our wooden bench comes with all the necessary tools, instructions, and video for quick assembly. The instruction sheet was in there - no tools or hardware. There is no way to contact seller, and amazon only gives option to return item. The package was damaged and thoroughly taped and full of styrofoam - so thankfully the actual wood was not damaged. SO it is POSSIBLE that the bag of tools/hardware was in there, but fell out due to damaged packaging. However, there is no way to just request the package of hardware, and because of the massacred packaging, no way to repackage the item to send back. Incredibly frustrating. Less time to go to hardware store and look for the hardware items, but if they are hard to find I am screwed....pun intended. If seller sees this PLEASE JUST SEND THE SIMPLE BAG OF HARDWARE AND ALLEN WRENCH. aaaurgh.

This fits perfectly in my small foyer! I like that it's made of real wood. It was super easy to assemble--just attach the legs as shown in the diagram.

The color is definitely not walnut, is almost black, and the packaging was straight out of my nightmares :( had to vacuum my whole apartment to get rid of the staticky styrofoam. Going to return because of the color being described inaccurately. They’re a cute shape and sturdy if this is the color you’re looking for though

I like the smooth satin finish. It’s narrow and doesn’t take up much space. I also like the mid century look. Made of wood but super lightweight and easy to move around. Very versatile as well. I’m sure sure how it would hold up under heavy traffic, specifically as a bench. It’s seems more of aesthetic purposes that actual long term or heavy usage. It’s simple but very pretty. Assembly was easy, basically just screw on the legs. Great quality for the price.
