What a waste of time and money. The cap feels like it’s literally glued shut. I tried used using tools to pry it open but it wouldn’t budge!! I understand wanting to keep the cap closed but WTF!

I’ve no idea what happened to the first flask I ever bought, but this is a fine replacement. I love these because they fit in the back of a woman’s jean pocket and I have water with me on short hikes during camping trips or on walks with a dog. If need be I can have two! I’m not brave enough to publicly use it for water when taking medicine when out and about but I wish I was! ( sure ma’am. It’s water 😉 We believe you 🙄)

Not much to expect from something so cheap, but it gets the job done.Biggest gripe is the screw on cap. It is difficult to secure sometimes, and hard to tighten completely, so it may leak if not careful. It does not stay cold long, so do not expect cold drinks, especially if you have it in you breast pocket.In the end, it is a fun little knickknack to have. Easy to fill and clean with the funnel, and has a nice finish.

The flask itself does appear to be stainless, the lid is not. The little hinge mechanism that holds onto the lid is plastic and tends to get caught up and stop you from fastening the (also plastic) lid.I recommend removing it, it snaps off of the stainless relatively cleanly, then you can pop the lid out and use it. This makes it a lot more usable in my opinion. I attached a picture of what that looks like, its not perfect, but its also an 8 dollar flask so calm down.Some guy also said it turns his whiskey black, i ran mine through the dishwasher before using it, but my brandy still seems to be the same color after leaving it in there overnight so I think thats not a problem for everybody.
