About this item

  • 【Feel Better in Summer】Cold and warm air conditioning air is controlled by the duct control motor, is not felt when in cold weather. But when the weather is hot, because his warm air is not closed tightly, some warm air will go to the cold air, which will affect the cooling effect, and the fuel consumption will increase obviously. After installing the warm water valve, the warm water inside and outside will not circulate, and the temperature of the warm water tank in the cab will naturally drop.
  • 【Application】The bypass valve can control 4 channels respectively to form 2 different flow directions. Widely used in pneumatic system, such as propane gas air hose, fuel line. It can also be used in the reconstruction of automobile heating valve. The purpose of this valve is that the warm water from the control valve is sent to the warm water tank in the cab.
  • 【Solid Connection】The 4-Way shaped hose barb ball valve can be solid connected to the hose (Fit hose which ID of 19mm). Keep the hose incision flat. It is better to use with clamps. Tighten clamps as tightly as possible to prevent leakage.
  • 【Solid Brass】The valve is made of solid brass, which is strong and not easily corroded, suitable for long time use. Heavy duty brass valve and thickened wall, higher strength and very rugged.
  • 【Package Include】1PCS 3/4"OD Barb Heater Control Valve.

I installed it in my class A diesel pusher motor home, as I needed to clean out the heater core, and it worked perfectly. It should make it nice in the summer as well.I almost wish I had installed it in the back of the coach by the engine block.

Definitely a must have in the summer time my ac is definitely 10degrees cooler nice and frosty in here most days it sits at 38 degrees and before I installed this mod it took a long time for the ac box to stay cool even in 100. Degree days good quality I hope it last a long time it keeps the heat out of the ac box in the summer time

My 2002 Ford Ranger's OEM unit is this flimsy plastic, vacuum-controlled ticking time bomb. I had two of them burst open on me in almost exactly a two-year span. With this having the same diameter barbs, it turned out to be a no-brainer. It was very easy for me to figure out which configuration was which and I went ahead and capped off the vacuum line. Living here in Florida, it's going to just stay in the bypass position most of the year anyway.

So have in the past used the heater hose swap trick to isolate the heater core....but alas I am getting lazier and it's nice to be able to fix with a twist of a finger. This allows me to isolate my heater core and get the coldest air possible from my ac that suffers from a leaky blend door. Living in the Mojave Desert I take AC seriously and even if blend door didn't leak this can male the air a bit colder by not allowing the heater core to heat. Anyhow I'm happy it's a good solid product and feels like it will last for at least a decade.

The switch wouldn't turn, I hit it with a hammer and now it works!!Before hammering it, disassemble the red knob first.
