Good quality wire I use it for reconnecting my battery plugs on my RC cars so they are all the same type no complaints will get again. Good value for the price when I received it.

I was surprised how well this worked on steel. It sticks pretty, well and although took a bit more heat, seemed to flow quite nicely. As others have said preheating the work piece helps quite a bit. Would definitely get again.

It works really well for stainless steel! I was unable to get it to stick to a piece of gold PVD jewelry but that could be a mistake on my end as I’m still a beginner.

As far as I was concerned soldering aluminum was something you don’t do. So I seen this and thought what if it actually works. When it arrived it looked like regular run of the mill solder. I gave it a try on some aluminum angle and wasn’t impressed at first, wouldn’t stick and what did was a weak at best bond. After some research I found out you should preheat the stock before trying to solder it. So with that I gave it a second attempt. It did much better this time around, looked like a bubblegum weld sort of but it did hold decent enough. Once the stock was preheated it did flow pretty good, melted easy enough and boy does it stink like all hell, definitely perform any soldering in a well ventilated work area.
