Easily holds three 3" chlorine tabs. Many color variations to pick, my favorite is green. Lights up the bottom of the pool and is fun to watch also adds a safety factor to you back yard pool.

I fixed the uneven floating by drilling two holes in the top of the bottom portion that is removable so that air can escape and allow it to fill with water. Note to the manufacturer, grill some holes so that the air can go out of the base.

This solar-powered chlorine floater is a great blend of practicality and aesthetics. It does what any standard dispenser should—holds 1" or 3" chlorine tablets and releases them gradually—but adds a fun nighttime twist with its built-in lights. The design is well thought out. Unlike some floaters that are tricky to close, this one has extra material to make sealing it easier, even when placed on a surface. It also feels sturdy—one user even mentioned accidentally dropping it on a rock with no damage. That’s reassuring since cheaper floaters tend to crack over time. The lights are where this product stands out. It charges via solar power, so there’s no extra effort required to keep it running. The multi-color light modes are a nice touch for evening swims or entertaining by the pool. However, the brightness isn’t as strong as some might expect, especially in larger pools. If you’re looking for a dramatic lighting effect, this might not be enough on its own. While it’s slightly smaller in chlorine capacity than some floaters, it holds about three 3” tablets, which should be enough for most standard pools. If you have a large pool, you might need to refill it more often. For those who want both functionality and ambiance without extra maintenance, this is a solid choice. It costs more than a basic chlorine dispenser, but if you enjoy nighttime swims or poolside gatherings, the extra feature makes it worth considering.

JUNK!! This did not even float upright, even when it had three tablets in it. And as the tablets were disintegrating, it just ended up floating on its side. A waste of money.

This item works as advertised. However, it is not as bright as shown in the pictures. See the images attached. I have a fairly shallow pool. It is only 52" deep. One picture shows it with the security lights off, the other with the security lights on. The kids love this light when the security lights are off, and I have to admit, it looks pretty cool.

Let me start off by saying, I cannot test the chlorine dispensing aspect of this product being since it is winter. But, we were able to set it outside on our deck and let it charge up. Then, when it got dark out, the lights were really neat. It worked well and was still on when I got up at 4AM. The dispenser...well..it is exactly that. it opens just like any other dispenser. It does hold a 3in tablet, which is pretty standard for the size of our pool. So, unless this thing just completely falls apart in the spring, I would say this product will not just be utilitarian, but also a neat focal point of your pool at night.

This is a good quality pool chlorine floater. It is well designed. It is easy to open and close to add pucks. It closes securely so won’t keep falling apart when in the pool (unlike our last puck holder). It is unobtrusive. You hardly notice it in the daytime because it blends in so well. At night it lights up and looks very pretty. This is pricier than a regular (non-solar) dispenser but I think it is worth the extra $$ to have the lights at night. They add a nice ambience to the pool area.

The solar LED lighting function of this chlorine dispenser is nice but what I love about it is the capacity and how easy it is to open and close it.With every other chlorine dispenser I've owned, you need to pull the base down insert your tablets then screw the top back on with the base fully extended. If you place the dispenser on a surface, the base moves up and blocks you from twising the top back on. This is such a nuisance. Not the case with this dispenser. Finally a product designer added an extra inch of material below the twist lines so that you can attach the top while the dispenser is sitting on a surface.I also like the clear top which makes the dispenser all but disappear, save for the black square of the solar panel. Ignore that during the day and you are rewarded with a nice little light show at night.Lastly, this feels solid! I dropped it on a rock on accident and no cracks at all. My other dispenser would have absolutely shown some damage. It has a nice weight to it and should last for a while.
