Please make sure that the sun can shine on the solar panel
1.How to check the string lights work during Daytime?
A.Completely cover the solar panel ,the String Lights will light up.
B.If not ,Leave the solar Panel in the sun for an hour and then completely cover the solar panel again and it should light up.
2.Make sure that the solar panel is NOT sheltered from the sun, because it needs to absorb enough energy from the sun.
3. It is ONLY designed to be protected from the rain. Please do NOT immerse it in the water.
4. The solar string lights has memory function. It will return to your previous setting when you turn it off and turn it on again.
5. The solar panel is with light sensor feature ,so that it can automatically turn off at dawn and turn up at dusk.

Other than the remote, the lights work well. To change modes, I am able to reach the control clipped to the umbrella, so I do not need the remote. The instructions are bad. Does not explain the modes.I used safety pins to attach the cable to umbrella. It would have been helpful to include clips.I purchased 2 sets. Neither remote works

The small light bulbs are falling out and blowing around in my yard. It’s not good to have small bulbs laying around with small children.

I bought them for an umbrella, but ended up using them in my greenhouse for ambient night lighting. They are not as bright as I thought they might be (can't really work under them), but perfect for ambiance. I plan to buy another set for the umbrella they were originally intended for. I haven't used the remote at all - I only use them as non-blinking white lights.

I used these lights for my outdoor umbrella and added another dimension to sitting outdoors. Simply devine... and it's solar operated... and remote controlled... with a bunch of modes... and easy to assemble and placed anywhere you desire!!
