The plastic is a bit cheap. I don't think it'll last very long outside. And the white light is not that easy to see. Not a terrible purchase but you're not getting a super sturdy item

I think that this light has a fatal design flaw. For one, it does not seem to be water tight, which makes it not great for using outdoors. It also has the location of the power button on the bottom of it which is the surface that would butt up to the surface you screw this light to. Not ideal if you need to turn it off easily.

I've had too many close calls when anchored at night and another boat (shrimp, fishing boat et al) does not see my anchor light at the top of the mast. I now place this on the boom of the boat (much closer to eye level for navigating boats at night) and it strobes all night on a good solar chargePro's0 No wiring to the boats electrical system necessary0 Charges fully through its integrated solar panel and embedded battery0 Sufficiently bright that its very visible at 100+meters0 The strobing flash catches ones attention0 Turns off automatically at dawn conserving battery chargeCon's0 If multiple days of poor weather than it does not charge sufficiently and it can only be charged through its solar panel0 The embedded battery is a NMH battery (Nickel Metal Hydride) which from my experience do not last as long as Li-ion variants. Time will tell if that is the case.

The Solar Strobe Warning Light is a bit expensive for what it is, but it works well and is quite visible. One important thing to note is that it has a dusk to dawn sensor, so it only activates after dark. Overall, it's a reliable and effective safety light for mailboxes, driveways, and other areas.

These are super-simple and nice to have for marking temporary barriers, items in the roadway, etc. Works well!
