I've been tinkering with these the past couple months before putting down the review. Straight of the box, the lights lasted most of the night and are fairly bright. After the first night, when the battery was run all the way down, I don't feel like I've been able to get the same level of charge to last the full night. I've adjusted the lights to get more constant sunlight. I've placed them directly in the open yard to get sun all day. The battery just doesn't seem to last all night and has died out before the sun comes up the next morning. The overall construction is a lighter plastic. If you're placing these near a walkway or a place that sees a trimmer, I'd suspect they'll get beaten up quickly. Mine are in a distant flower bed and away from foot traffic. This is a personal preference, but I opted for the cool white, which I wanted to highlight a taller palm tree in our yard. Previously trying warm white lights, it just made the tree look orange and I didn't like the aesthetic. Cool white just seems too sterile, but is a night clean white. Would look good, if cool white is your thing. I'm typically a big cool white fan, but do like warm white when it comes to landscape lighting for the gentler light output.Overall, these were a good value for what I ordered. Would recommend, but slightly disappointed by the lack of full night usage almost immediately out of the box.

Well worth the price. High illumination, long operation time, quick charging.does the trick for three uplighting and pathway lights. Brighter than most other similar lights

This item comes with two solar powered yard lights. These lights can be placed in the ground with the included plastic stakes, or they can be placed on a house or fence with the included screws and anchors. The lights have 3 different power modes. A dimm setting, medium light setting and a bright setting. This is easily changed with a small button on the backside of the light. Depending on how much sun light they absorb during the day, they last for seperate amounts of darkness. They automatically come on at dark. I have tried both the lowest setting and the medium settings, and so far, they have stayed lit all night. I intend to try the high setting and update my review, but as of now the medium setting lights fit what we need them for just fine. They definitely help light up the area we have them and make finding a key for the door much easier when we forget to leave the porch light on.They seem well made. They're much nicer than solar lights I have purchased in the past. They have the added bonus that the light is adjustable and can be aimed up or down according to your individual needs. I recommend these to any one that wants to add some extra light to their property without the need of electricity.Update: After using these lights for a few weeks, i have some added remarks. The highest setting doesn't seem to last all night long. It could be the location where our lights are bc they are not in the early morning sun but rather lunch time and on. Maybe because it's winter still and the amount of daylight is just really short. I will try and update again in the height of summer when they get long hours of sun as well if I notice a difference. Also, on rainy cloudy days, these barely shine at all which is understandable as they are solar powered. Just wanted to add this because even on days where there was some sun and some overcast, they didn't really light up those nights. I still think they are nice lights and I expect them to work much better when the daylight hours are longer and they soak in this southern sun at full strength.

These spotlights come very safely packaged, as seen my initial pictures. Each of the lamps is individually wrapped, and, should you care to mount them on a wall or other surface, they come with mounting screws and anchors. We live where the landscaping is not yet finished, and therefore the driveway has not yet been paved. We chose to mount them in the remains of the landscaping straw, using the included spikes, illuminating our driveway. As seen in the pictures, these can be angled at anywhere from straight ahead to directly overhead (or directly down, if attached with the included screws, in a soffit), to sharply down, if mounted high on a wall, illuminating something away from that wall - like a walkway, e.g.On the subject of aimed anywhere, the adjustment angle of however you're mounting them is firmly in place with the thumbscrews pictured tightening the deep-indentations of the angles realized at each tightening point. As to our specific use, at least from my perspective in the driver's seat, avoiding the huge rock on one side and the rock retaining wall on the other is important to me as I return at night. As we enter our steep driveway, with our headlights shining up in the air and our driveway flowing downhill, that means our headlights don't illuminate any of what these lamps do; in particular, these flood lights do a fantastic job of illuminating those nasty rocks which would not play nicely with the front of our cars! It's difficult to put into mere brief words how pleased we are. They have a very significant solar panel for efficient charging of the large battery capacity of these lamps! The very substantial solar cell is protected until installation by a stout piece of plastic (don't forget to remove it before installation!), which guarantees that you will get this solar cell in perfect condition to start sucking up the solar energy necessary to keep this lit all night long.Seen in the pictures, these have switches which will allow you to control three levels of light (or, a 4th, which fades and brightens, for reasons which escape me) in addition to "off." While I am not certain how frequently we would use it, the switch can turn the light off when you don't need it, or to enhance battery charging while you are away. I've shown a couple of indications of the difference between the low and high lighting levels, and the separate surface-mount holes base into which the ground stakes with or without extensions are placed. With three levels of light, you can adjust the level of lighting you care to have. We chose to have them on the brightest level given the nature of our need to see these rocks and the driveway as we enter the property. Of course, the higher the level of light, the higher the demand on the battery. However, I show both level 1 and level 3 illumination. These make plenty of light, including long after dark arrives. With that said, see the last picture to see what that means in real life! The many pictures above illustrate where we have placed these relative to the two significantly sized rocks which we want to avoid. Particularly, as seen, while we do have other solar lights which illuminate our drive beyond those two rocks, this particular rock, and these lights, are the immediate challenge. The final view with multiple lamps is at 5:00 a.m.While the picture showing is not all that clear, given that I was shooting through a rainy window from 300 feet away, from our 2nd story office window, it illustrates that these lamps will stay lit far longer than the typical solar lamp, with all the others long-before having gone dark.Oh, and very significantly:That rainy window I mentioned? It rained the entire day, and night - and yet, it had enough battery power at 5:00 a.m. to continue lighting the hazards! That is strictly awesome! You can say that we don't take this lightly, but I think that's not sufficient to say that we're very pleased with the amount of light these throw on the subject. Very well done! 🤗👍
