This is not put together on arrival and it was difficult to put together. Flimsy quality and light is not very bright. I have had a lot of solar lights to light up my front door and surrounding landscape. i do not recommend and will not be buying again.

From the size, performance, construction, and mounting options to the packaging, and price, very pleased with these lights. Purchased to uplight a sign and tree at the entrance to my property. I needed an option to move the solar panel into the sun and these fit the bill. With a full day of charging in the sun these lights stay on and bright all night long. I can’t rate the waterproofing yet but judging from the way the lens cover is mounted I am confident there won’t be any moisture problems.///UPDATE: likes them so much ordered more!

Great lights for the ridiculously low price. We have our panel in a spot that gets direct sunlight 5 hours a day, max. The lights stay on all night. Sturdy build, and decent lumens. My only recommendation would be for the manufacturer to offer elliptical hoods as an add-on.

I used this to illuminate an evergreen tree in my backyard. The chords are long enough to put the solar panel in the sunshine while still having the lights on either side of the trunk. They are way brighter than I expected (that's a good thing). I've had a couple sets of these now for about 3 months. I use them on low setting, which is plenty bright, and provided it's not a totally cloudy day, they last all night 95% of the time. They seem pretty heavy-duty. I'm actually impressed and very satisfied. I have a 12-volt system in the front of the house with buried cables. But, this is so convenient to just place them without all that extra work. It's provides something to look at at night; otherwise, it would be total blackness. It's definitely a very inexpensive way to upgrade your landscape and make it look expensive.

Easy to set up, lighting is good although the beam could be broader it's quite narrow. However it states it holds an 8-12 hour charge after 6-8 hours charging. Not even close, these only hold their charge for 2- 2/12 hours which is incredibly disappointing.

Tested lights out of the box when it arrived- worked. Installed it outside the next day. 4 days of bright sunlight and it hasn’t worked one minute since. Toggled the on off switch- nothing!! UPDATE: started working after 5 days. Strange as there was direct prolonged sunlight throughout. Lights last for about 2-3 hours each night. Have to cover the solar panel to get them started though as ambient light seems to prevent automatic activation at night

Most solar lights are ChiCom garbage. They’ll last a few months then “Pfffft”, dead. This one seems better made with an aluminum housing. Light stays on for hours and fully charges with a half day of sun. This is also likely ChiCom garbage but better than others I’ve purchased.

I really like these solar spotlights because they are very bright for their size and (importantly), the solar panel is remote from the light (not attached to it physically).Often you will want to illuminate something that, from the point of view of the light, is not in an optimal location for charging. With these lights, you can place the illuminator anywhere you want, and locate the solar panel in a spot that is sure to get sunlight. These have worked well for me for over a year to illuminate some large stone columns at a gated entrance, but the location of the illuminators has bushes between them and the direction of the Sun in the winter. So these lights let me place the solar panels in full view of the winter sun, while having the illuminators right where they need to be to shine on the columns in the most attractive manner. The lights themselves are housed in a metal enclosure and have a firm metal spike to attach them to the ground. The wire interconnecting the illuminator with the solar panel is very long (probably 10 feet or so), so it is easy to find optimal places for each.I have repurchased these lights for another illumination project a year later because these are the best designed lights that I have found so far.

La lumière solaire fonctionne bien , la batterie est de bonne dimension et cela donne de bons résultats.Le seul point négatif est que le panneau solaire n'est pas bien dimensionné en puissance pour une recharge complète de la batterie.

Very impressed with the overall quality of this kit. Spikes and lights are metal, all cables have double waterproof seals and the high quality 18650 lithium battery is replaceable. Light stays on until at least 4am in the summer and is a nice warm tone. I use it to light a landscaping boulder on the front lawn and it works well for this application.

I use a set of these around my pond. I like the separate solar panel. It keeps the lights smaller and provides more flexibility in placement. The solar panel can also be place for the best light while still allowing you to place the lights anywhere the cords can reach. The only drawback will be, you are limited by the length of the cord connecting the lights to the solar panel.
