The size was smaller than I expected, but the lamp was super bright. Installation was easy, I just had to install the solar panels somewhere and connect it to the lamp. It is motion sensitive, which makes it great for a porch light.

There are four lights. They light up when you walk past. The installation of solar energy is very convenient and the brightness is sufficient. Overall, the feeling is very good.

A well built and well designed solar powered lamp with a 16 foot cord between the light and the solar panel so you can mount the solar panel out in the sun and the light under a shed or in a room. The light charges in about 6 hours of sunshine and lasts several hours. The lamp has a motion detector which works well and helps conserve the battery. Super easy to install and recommended for that shed out back that doesn’t have electricity yet.

VERDICTBuyWHYThis is a perfect external lamp or even an emergency indoor lamp for power outages. I like the brightness of the lamp although a diffuser would have been nicer than seeing the essentially bare LEDs. I didn't like the two prong connector - I wish they would have kept with a more standard DC barrel 5.5mm x 2.1mm connector. I like that it works with motion sensors or constant on. And that it gives you various options. My solar cell looks like there is a fine scratch across one of the cells - so just keep a sharp eye - as QC seems to be lacking.

This Hatband-brand solar powered shed light is pretty nifty. The built-in 5,000 mAh battery is big enough to store enough power for many hours of illumination. The solar panel is big enough to charge the battery fully within six to eight hours, and then will sustain the battery indefinitely when the light is used sporadically. The lamp body is roughly cone shaped, so that the light produced is distributed widely in a full 360 degrees. There is a built-in motion detector on the bottom of the lamp body, which can serve to trigger the light on when motion nearby is detected. After a short period of time with no nearby motion, the lamp can be set to switch off again, saving the battery charge. All this is constructed with a high degree of waterproofing and weather proofing, so that the lamp can be mounted outdoors if needed. The solar panel MUST be mounted where it can receive full direct sunlight for a good part of the day, but I prefer to locate the lamp itself underneath a sheltering roof. The sixteen-foot connecting cable makes this easy.This solar lamp comes with a remote control for setting up the various mode options. This lamp comes with more optional settings than most, and you should easily be able to find the one that suits your purposes best. It is also possible to set the brightness to less than full illumination, which serves to extend the battery life ever more. This is a nice, well-designed and well-constructed solar powered shed light, and I like it.

This solar shed light solves the problem with most solar powered motion activated lights. I've found that many are wired such that if the solar panel detects daylight, the light fixture will not turn on. So when I entered the shed in the daytime, the light would stay off which is pretty useless. This light has extra modes allowing it to function during daylight hours which is awesome.My shed is a 10'x12' with no windows and this fixture lights up the interior (even with the door closed) more than enough to see what's what in the floor and on the shelves. The slanted LED panel helps cast light to the sides which helps with lighting up the shelves. The power cord is plenty long and the remote is easy to use.I'm thoroughly pleased with this solar shed light and highly recommend it.
