Split Design

Was about to return it because I thought it would not work after having it charged in the sun for 2 days. After getting it ready to return, noticed there was an "ON/OFF" button not shown in the instructions. Pressed it and it was on. Remote works great at setting the type of light, brightness and modes. Really great for the price, provides plenty of light for our shed/cabana in the back yard. We'll see how long it holds up after a while. Will consider purchasing a few more

I purchased this light for our gazebo and it was great. Loved the motion detection and the perfect amount of light. It all of a sudden stopped working. I will be looking for a different brand. Shouldnt stop working after a little over a month.

Update These lights are very nice and they do last along time just make sure you have it on the right setting and on either the lowest brightness or the second lowest for it to last all night without any sun glad I figured it out at first they would die so fast. But messed with the brightness and made sure they were done blinking and even when there done charging in the day time you can nuse them without killing the battery definitely take back what I said and I do recommend

I was looking for a simple solar-powered light for a backyard gazebo to which we couldn't draw power cables. As the title says, the product just works. Very compact solar sell with simple screws to install on gazebo frame. Our gazebo also had a hanger at the top and we used a carabiner to attach the light. Super happy for a $36 product.Remote settings that cover various combinations of trigger conditions (motion and light sensor) were just perfect. I constantly leave it at Mode 2 (turned off during the day, and turns on upon motion at night), and when we do hangout more extensively, switch to Mode 3 (constant on during the night - turns off at dawn (or ambient light becomes more apparent) in case I forget).Note that the product does come with a remote, but NOT the cradle as shown on the photo. Because the remote is almost identical in dimensions to Amazon Fire TV remote, I bought another product built for that (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0922467VP), which offered the amazing fit for this remote.
