Works great with our ring stick up cameras. This is our second purchase as we have added another ring camera. Our old one has been working perfectly for the last 2 1/2 years and we live in northern mi, so it's not always perfectly sunny. Actually 6 months out of the year its cloudy and can be dark. Still works and holds up in the snow.

Looked for a solar panel for my Gen 1 light for a long time. Found this one and it works great. Highly recommended.

The solar worked great in maintaining my ring cameras charged. The reason why it’s missing a star is because it took a while for the cameras to charge to 100%. It would be great if this came with a magnet, but it’s worth your money, it’s easy to attach, has a long enough cord which leaves space to attach the solar anywhere.

Connected this to a Ring Stick Up Cam on my shed, and it works perfectly. It keeps the camera charged and I've never had it die since using this. The shed has trees on both sides, so it only gets direct sun for the middle part of the day (~6 hrs in summer, less now), but with indirect sun or when it's overcast, it still manages to charge; even lately with many overcast and rainy days it keeps it adequately charged. It was easy to mount and adjust and the cable was plenty long. Does what it should, and as long as it holds up, for half the price of the original Ring panel it's a great value!

Long story short:I bought the solar panels and it was about a week before I was able to mount them. I tested with one panel on my garage roof where I have the greatest sun exposure. Literally full sun all day, no obstructions. I fully charged my Ring spotlight battery before installation and mounting.Within the first three days the battery was at 4%. I checked the battery life, noticed that the charge wasn't keeping up with the drain rate, so I adjusted the motion detection sensitivity and zone figuring that major foot traffic along the sidewalk was probably contributing to the issue. I checked for the next three days and the battery charge was a little better. We were now entering week 3. I turned off all camera and light functions for the next few days to let the camera fully charge. After 3 more days of not being able to use my camera the battery showed about 50%. I turned the camera back on, leaving the motion detection really restricted and turning off the light function. The next day the battery showed that it was draining. For the next 5 days, it was cloudy or rainy nearly every day. The solar panel did nothing and the camera completely died. I didn't want to leave a bad review and I wanted to see if the panel would work when the sun returned.Sun returned, we are in the middle of week 4. I tried to pull the camera up on the app and it was not accessible. Waited a few days to see if it would light back up. It wouldn't. I am now 2 days past the return window.I contact Amazon. They say they cannot help. They suggest I contact the supplier. I email the supplier a full outline of what has happened. They do not respond. I wait another week and email them again. They do not respond. It has now been 5 days since my second email. No response. The product doesn't work consistently or reliably. I can't imagine depending on this for tracking security footage. I wouldn't trust it to do what it's supposed to. I especially wouldn't given that they supplier doesn't stand behind their products.0 stars for the product. 0 stars for the seller.

I have a Ring outdoor stick-up camera viewing a portion of my backyard that performs somewhat frequent detections. My camera is installed on a large tree, and I was worried that the shady area would diminish the solar panel output too much to be worth it. However, this little solar panel has worked like a champ. Despite the shade, the camera battery has consistently increased. Definitely recommend!
