She proudly hung it up by the front door so everyone could see him when they visited. The light only lasts about 6 hours... Make sure you have clear unrestricted access to the sun. It will last more time if you leave it in direct sunlight.

Nice, well-painted solar monkey lantern. Looks almost identical to the pictures as you can see. It has a very small hook to hang it from. If you want to hang it from a tree branch you will need to find an alternative way like a zip tie or loop it over the branch and then hook the hook to the vine, making it not hang down as far. I zip-tied it and it lasted through some really bad tropical storms. The light is bright enough to see at a distance and I haven't had any issues with it charging or turning off and on.
