This is a great little solar lantern that splashes light across the yard when sufficiently charged. You just need to turn it on and leave in the sun for a few hours and it scatters patterns everywhere. It won't work inside, but you can charge it outside and bring it in--really great for a kids room. Well built, great for a kids room!

These are great lanterns to provide ambiance at night plus they even look pretty during the day. They do cast a unique, beautiful shadow at night. They seem to be of good quality and they’re so easy to use. You turn it on and put it in the sun and that’s it. I do have to add that these won’t work inside, even if you have a sunny window. I tried this first in a window that gets a lot of sun, thinking there would be sufficient sunlight to charge it, but there wasn’t. But, they look great outside, so I guess you could charge it up outdoors and then bring it inside for tabletop elegance. Note: I got three similar lanterns, so as you’re looking at my pic of the three, this one is the lantern on the right.

Honestly I wasn’t expecting a whole lot but this little beauty really does light up our front door! It looks so beautiful and neighbors have stopped to stare at it when they walk by. It stays lit for quite some time over night. It does not blow away in the winds or during the rain. It it pretty sturdy for such a dainty seeming item. This has really classed up our front door!

This is a good gift or fun item for the garden. The light can either be hung from something, which gives the effect in the 2nd picture, or it can be placed on a table or other surface giving the effect in the 1st picture.The solar panel seems to work well and give a good period of light. The only small negative was that the piece in the bottom of the lamp protruded slightly and so this wouldn't sit flat on a table. I did bend this a but which improved it but it wasn't 100%. This might be an isolated case but I took off 1 star as a result.

The dragonfly lantern is fine. The dragonflies show well because the solar top works well. My issue is the bottom. It has a metal loop on the underneath and it cannot sit flat and steady. It wobbles because of the metal loop. It's such an odd design feature and I don't understand the purpose of it. It makes this lantern only good for hanging which is fine if that's what you plan to do, but isn't functional as a standing lantern as it claims in the listing. Maybe a tad overpriced.

I orderd this for my garden and it looks great during the day and at night. Solar light lasts a good amount of time and people complement it all the time.

This is a great, little solar lantern! I love the copper and all the firefly cut outs in it. It really gives off a nice light in the dark. I have it outside on my patio and it lights up even with a lot of large trees that give off shade. I was surprised at how much I liked it when it arrived. It looks more expensive than the price and that makes me very happy.
