We put one of these on each side of our front porch steps on shepard's crook poles and they light the walkway and steps very well. The light is bright enough to make the steps and walkway safe at night and not overly bright to be harsh. They stay lit for a long time, usually well past midnight, depending on how much sunshine during the day. The light is more on the warm side, not the bright bluish white of some leds. They have been working for about six months now, in hot summer and cold winter and all kinds of weather.

The colour and flickering of the flame is pleasant and realistic. When charged, they last me for several evenings. I am using them inside for the FP effect. Cosy and Great!

I've gone through tons of solar lights for outside, and they always end up being underwhelming. Not bright enough, poor quality...etc. So I was skeptical. I'm happy to say that they proved me wrong! Gives off a very respectable amount of light. Looks great and has real glass. The temperature of the light gives off a nice glow. Not to white, not to yellow. My driveway is pitch black and these give it just enough light to see, but not be overpowering. Just perfect when viewing the Northern Lights!

We took these camping this weekend and like the feature of the light staying off, saving the battery, while it’s not needed. The light stayed light all evening probably 7pm until we turned it off in the morning. Mount was easy to install, ours is mounted on a DIY camper, the hook feature is great because we don’t want the light swaying while driving on the interstate.

I bought these to hang outside the door of an old gypsy wagon we restored. They are very cute and the “flame” looks pretty legitimate. However, one stopped working within days. I thought it was because it wasn’t getting enough sun so didn’t think much about it; until yesterday when I decided to put it in a sunny spot the whole day and noticed it didn’t work last night. Too late to return so it’s unfortunate I didn’t realize this sooner.

These are on the smaller side, but the “flame” looks very realistic! I was impressed with how long one of them kept glowing from nightfall (7:00PM) until dawn. The other one did that, too, for a couple of days then disappointingly just never lit up again. (I actually checked to make sure the switch was still in the on position. ) Additionally, I hung them on shepherds hooks on the edge of my patio when I took my hummingbird feeders off of them last week, and I can see the flame very well from a distance, but it sadly doesn’t light up the area around it at all. I decided that was ok, but then one quit working completely so I certainly can’t recommend them!!Edit: I thank the seller for reaching out to me to put things right. I thank them and will definitely look for items from them in the future.

***UPDATE*** I didn't bother bringing them in for the winter and they are still going strong! I live in Northern Connecticut, so they were subject to snow, wind, and freezing temperatures. I am adding two more pictures to show how long the lights stay on. The snowy picture was taken at 6am on a January morning, and the other was taken in early April, also at 6am. We are so impressed with them!Original review: We just had an inground pool put in this past spring and we needed some sort of lighting around the pool, but I didn't know how we'd power it and I didn't want the lights to be super bright. These solar lights ended up being the perfect solution. I bought one set at first, to see how they worked, and loved them so much I bought several more sets. I have some hanging along our 6' privacy fence, inside the pool area, and then I have some hanging along the outside of the pool safety fence, which you can see in the picture. I didn't use the brackets that came with them because I didn't want to put any holes in the fence, so I used vinyl fence hooks that sit over the top of the fence and don't damage it. I wish I had a better picture, but our yard has been on ongoing construction site for the past six months, but I thought it might at least give someone an idea for places to hang them or how they look hanging along a fence like that. There is now a shed at the far end of the pool, so I'm buying a couple of more of these to hang on either side of the front door in the spring. These really do work great. They are not super bright, but they are bright enough to see by, for what we need them for, and are just so pretty. They work great and if it's been a super sunny day, sometimes they are still on early in the following morning. Love them!
