Iv'e been using this for a few months. They are pretty cool. The only thing that i don't like is that while it comes with quite a few different heads for the spout they all shoot up to high and splash out of the birdbath. I don't use any head so the water just sorts bubbles out.

This works good. The rods sticking out of the sides should be a little longer. Then you could trim them to fit. I think I have a standard size bird bath, but the rods aren't long enough. So, the fountain doesn't stay centered.

Our bird bath is located under some trees to keep the water cooler in the bird bath, so when the sun was out the fountain kept starting and stopping. The birds around my house were afraid of it. That might be because it was cutting off and on, but the birds abandoned the bird bath until we removed the fountain. It was unsuccessful at our house. We were hoping the birds would play in it, but it didn’t happen.

I've purchased two of these so far in the last few months. They work well and are simple to clean. Pay attention to how it comes, how the center part is popped out, because to clean it later you pop that center part out again, rinse off the black sponge filter and all the slits w/a hose, and pop it all back together. Couldn't be easier. (Years ago I had gotten a different brand solar fountain and I didn't realize how to disassemble and clean it since it came assembled. So I never cleaned that one. Ooops.) So in addition to being easy to clean, and just powerful, it looks to be better constructed than my old one. I do wish the manufacturers lived in a world with wind so they would understand that you cannot use any of those cute fountain attachments to make the cute high spray patterns if you have a regular sized bird bath. Yes the straw-like spacers this fountain come with are cool and helpful, but if you use any of those spray-heightening attachments your spray would be too high and a breezy day would blow it out of your fountain and empty your fountain quickly. So you just use no attachments and it's a single bubbler look where the water goes up maybe 1.5" and back down. (This issue would exist with any brand fountain.) Then the only reason your fountain will empty is because a deer keeps visiting to drink up, but I don't mind. :-) It's now a bird & deer fountain. This seller is so thoughtful in other ways (in the good design and quality of the fountain) that I wish they wouldn't give people unrealistic expectations re. spray heights for bird baths. Now if you have some big pond, then you can play with 1' high pretty spray patterns. Anyway bottom line, this is the best brand to go with for sure due to quality, ease of cleaning, and spacer staws are cool, but do clean it somewhat regularly to maintain best functioning.

The filter was inspected and cleaned weekly, but it didn’t last. A waste of money.Likes:- no battery required as the solar power works, but only with bright sun- multiple options for the fountain spray pattern- spacers to keep the fountain mostly centeredDislikes:- the pump quit working at 30 days- the plastic straws used to maintain the fountain in the center of the bowl keep falling off- using any of the fountain spray pattern nozzles would quickly empty the water from the fountain as it sprayed the water outside of the bowl in even a light breeze.- the pump requires bright sunlight to work

Two out of five attachments are missing still I'm keeping it. Fountain is working perfectly.
