There's been an increase in car break-ins over the last few months in our area. We noticed a few people have started sleeping in our carports, so we decided to find some sort of deterrent. Extra security guards are expensive, and actual recorded footage requires a lot of equipment and time.This dummy camera was our first option. We no longer have people in the carports at night.It looks genuine and you can't tell it's fake.

I thought this would be a great tool to help us with teens hanging out near or on our property during lunch since we are a block away from a large high school. At first I mounted it near the front of our house on the side near a green space park. It seemed to be effective but it would also annoy me or frighten on of the kids as they would empty the trash at night and it would go off/light up/etc. So I decided to move it further back on another building that overlooks a more hidden corner. Now it i funny to watch the teens get uncomfortable during the day when it keeps talking to them when they move in the area - about 10-20 feet away. We set it to Chinese language mode for kicks and giggles (it sounds funny to a non-Chinese speaker).This fake camera has been great. It is not perfect for a teen hangout problem but helps a lot. I can also see it being a door greeting in a small shop or store as well -- it has a welcome message option that plays when it senses movement which would have been handy in our custom wood shop when a client came in the small retail section and we were out back in the shop.

I recently purchased the onovatpol Fake Camera with Motion Sensor Light&Doorbell and I'm very satisfied with it! The fake security camera looks realistic and the motion sensor light and doorbell features add an extra layer of deterrence. I like that it's solar-powered and has a battery backup, making it easy to install and maintain. The dummy security camera is a great addition to my outdoor security setup and the welcome buzzer is a nice touch. Overall, I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a fake security camera that looks real and has functional features.

I bought 2 of these and the one in the back by the patio works good as long as you have it facing the sun several hours a day. I put the other one in the front and it wouldn't operate due to not facing the sun had to send it back.

This thing will not be quiet I literally have it upside down no way to detect anything & keeps talking so annoying & can’t be used

It is a dummy camera i installed and it is working with all the function which is an audible warning and can detect a person as they walk by so close to the house.The red light warning adds to the security.All the highlights are led and it comes with a remote control to let the light steady or in motion sensor.I just love it as i watched the whole system of this fake camera works as it supposed too.It is also a water resistant unit and protected from the elements of nature as it is made with a highly durable material.I choose solar panel to charge it thru the sun and so far it is perfect.

DO NOT BUYI bought this with the intentions. I’ve tried to protect an area from my equipment. This is got to be the biggest piece of crap I have ever seen in my life. Don’t believe the reviews that tell you it looks real because it does not, and it doesn’t work the alarm will not go off, the light will start to flash for a couple seconds and it won’t stay on like it’s supposed to The alarm doesn’t go off the light doesn’t stay on. It does what it wants when it wants just a piece of freaking garbage do not buy this.
