It was so easy to install on my wooden railing for some entrance steps. Light is nice and soft. Bright enough to see. Soft enough for a sense of privacy. They turn on automatically in the dark. Charge with daylight. Very pleased with these lights. I used the two screws to attach them nice and sturdy. Very thin profile.

Ordered two different boxes, and overall they turned out nice. However, the first box was missing two bags of screws and I had to rummage around our garage to find some that would work. The second box, had 4 lights that had broken tabs that hold the clear piece on, and one solar was covered in glue. Price is right though

Wanted these for the fence line; mostly to see the garbage cans at night. The first few days I was satisfied, but not impressed. The lights started out incredible dim, and didn't help see much better in the dark. Within a week, the lights don't even come on at all anymore. Eventually I will go back out with the ladder and remove the 16 lights from my fence, but it's not even worth the hassle right now for the return. Such a disappointment.

Used them on the tops of my fence and on the stairs and porch area. Not extremely bright but light up enough to see the stairs when walking up them to not miss a step.

In a package of 16 lights, 9 were received damaged, including one where the battery was totally dead and would not charge. Of the 9 damaged units, many plastic lenses were cracked, or the tiny tab that holds the lens in place was completely broken off. I do not know if this was a manufacturing defect, or shipping damage. The package arrived as a flimsy box inside a mailer envelope. When I opened the envelope, the box appeared to have been crushed; it was open and falling apart. I gerry-rigged the units with electrical tape to hold the lenses together, and installed them on my deck. So far, after 3 days, the lights are functioning, and the appearance is pleasing. Time will tell how long these last. I may update the review in coming months.Update 6/7/24: after more than a month in use, I have been pleased with their performance. They provide excellent illumination to the edges of my deck, increasing safety. Last night, the first light failed to turn on. I'll remove it and evaluate it. I will also be ordering a second set. If not for the shoddy packaging and all the damage when the first set was received, I'd give it 5 stars. I upped the rating from 2 to 3 stars because of their performance in this past month.
