Working Condition&Maintenance
Working Condtion:
- The start open temperature can be adjusted from 15℃-23℃ ( 59℉-73.4℉ ).(Adjust:Rotate the cylinder clockwise to lower the open temperature or anticlockwise to increase open temperature.)
- When the temperature reaches 33℃ ( 91.4℉ )or above, the window will be fully opened.
- The maximum open distance, from window sill to bottom rail, is about 45cm (18”).
- Maximum weight of the window is 7kg (15.4 lb).
Storage and maintenance：
- All moving parts need to be lubricated after installation. Occasional lubricate is recommended.
- Please take off the cylinder from the opener when the window is not to be opened such as during winter time, to avoid any accident opening due to warm up climate.
- Lubricate and check the piston rod, make sure it can work smoothly if there is long time no work.
- The vent opener should be stored at a cool and dry place.

None of these piston driven products can stand up to wind in East Idaho. Sad but true. Heavy duty or not! I have three dead ones and none were up to the task. I recommend a mechanical system that can neither be pushed up or down by the wind.

We put up our greenhouse and it came with manual vent opener We decided that something like this would be better. It definitely is better. The day after I installed these, they were opened and working perfectly.

Installed this arm and thought it was great. It worked the day I installed it. Has never worked since that day. Will be returning to get my money back.

Somewhat tedious to install but they open the vents much wider than the original ones that came with the greenhouse. They are stronger and handle wind better.
